Okay, so here's what I don't get. God picks the children of Abraham as his chosen people, then gives them Israel and goes through a few thousand years of their continuous rebellion/persecution/repentance.

While this is going on, the Greeks pop up, and despite being primarily polytheistic manage to form democratic society, powerful and profound abstract philosophy, open and competitive sport and business and the underlying structure of the sciences and mathematics. Their influence on Rome and on foreign culture through the expansion of Alexander the Great would later provide the backbone needed by the Evangelical Christian movement of the early centuries.

How did the Hellenists (note; this means Greek, rather than people going to Hell, just to clarify) manage to accomplish so much relative to the Israelites if it was the latter that God chose to grant with his blessing?

She swears it was him. The medium brought things up that only the two of them shared. Now she says she has found peace because she knows that he is around her and protecting her and her kids. I am so worried about this and her. Should I be? I don't want to get all judgemental, but I know that the bible is completely against this. She's a church goer, too.

Is he here among us, casting doubts on God and his word? Does he use forgeries to cast doubt on God's abitlity to create? Does he induce us to cast aside God so that we won't be accountable to him?

She says if I had just become a catholic priest I never would have gone to prison for child molestation, because the church would protect me. Is that true?

Althogh I don't think so, because I don't think Jesus supports torture and murder, many republicans like to think they have control over the fundamentalist extremists in America.

Sure you say you have a self awareness but I strongly believe most people don't possess soul and they are just living on instincts alone like ants running around and doing their things and living until they die. That's why nature/our creator doesn't stop certain tragedies because most people are just here to fill a space. However only small percentage possess soul, are you the one?

So I asked this question

I believe that God looks at C&B's life as a marraige moreso than J&R.
Some believe that because J&R have the legal paperwork and have gone through the legal ceremony, they are more married. Does this mean you believe God has a legalist view of marraige?

Jesus says "So they are no longer two, but one, what God has joined together let man not seperate." He did not say, "What man decides is joined together let man not seperate."

When the Bible says Acts 15:24,28,29 ...For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

In reference to this declaration of scripture that I ask the question. The list of dos and don'ts become very short here and any interpertation of scripture that would not be congruent is claimed by this scripture to be false. If one stays with the original languages and there meanings it is clear that only the sexual sin of fornication ( "pornea" , meaning commerce or forced sex) is forbidden. All other traditions are extra-biblical dogma.

Honestly, folks I had this question on here in other words and a "loving" participant chose to react and report rather than answer. I mean to offend no one just further my research, thank you for your input.

hurting us, then why can't we believe that the Lord our Creator will protect us from everything. Why do we doubt with so many things, if we see that we have gotten through so much; and that some go through what we don't understand how they endure it?

If you want to be here, at least have the decency to respect believers, otherwise your just a sad human being. Go do something else with your life.
