Why do some people think that sex is only for baby making? I think its also for being spiritual and loving with your partner not just for making babies,

i love the closeness that sex brings ... that bonding with two people is beautiful
i cant see how this in any way can be wrong
i do understand the difference though between casual sex and beautiful sex in a relationship
there lies the difference

Making love is for exactly that. Making love. Making a baby out of that love is a miracle, but not the goal. You can have sex to procreate the species and not feel one ounce of love for the person you are doing it with.
So I agree with you completely

It is for procreation. However, I do not think God would have taken so much time and effort into creating erogenous zones and making it feel so good emotionally and physically for two people who are using it as an outward expression of an inward feeling if it wasn't somewhat for pleasure of both parties.

I agree with you sex is not just for having babies.It is spiritual,and a beautiful way of showing your love for each other.

The baby-making thing is one of the more obnoxious elements of Catholicism as defined by the Church, and shows a fundamental ignorance of what human sexuality is all about. Fortunately, most non-Catholics (and many Catholics as well) do not suffer from that delusion.

I agree with that statement, but just as you said the deep connection that sex brings between to people can only be realized in a committed monogamous relationship

I think that mindset is very rare in modern day. I think most people accept that sex is good and spiritual--in a Christian sense it is viewed as a gift from God.

Yes it is a special love and relationship between husband and wife. If some disagrees just go mess with someones wife or husband and see if they don't come after you with a shotgun.

i totally agree with you. sex is the farthest amd most beautiful thing one can do to show how much they love someone. so it shouldn't only be for babies, but for love.
