I think that you are a fanatic to believe that. It doesn't matter whether you're atheist or not... that is a very strong thing to say. Maybe you've met people who are using religion wrongly.. such as George W Bush who is killing in the name of God. Maybe because of those people you think religious fanatics should be wiped of the face of the Earth. If you met a truly religious person they would be kind and selfless...look out here come the kind and selfless people!! You are most definetley a fanatic. These people are willing to die for what they believe in; are you willing to die for what you believe in?
Yours Truly,
A religious fanatic

fa‧nat‧ic [fuh-nat-ik] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun 1.a person with an extreme and uncritical enthusiasm or zeal, as in religion or politics.
–adjective 2.fanatical.
[Origin: 1515–25; < L fānāticus pertaining to a temple, inspired by orgiastic rites, frantic, equiv. to fān(um) temple + -āticus, equiv. to -āt(us) -ate1 + -icus -ic]
If you feel that strongly about religious fanatics I would have to say that you might have a chance of becoming one yourself. If something doesn't agree with you, ignore it. You go on with your life and let others go on with theirs.
Some religious fanatics need to be punished. We should punish them in a fair manner though. We should never become fanatics ourselves when we are dealing with fanatics. We would be no better than any other fanatic.

Yes. Make sure you start with the small one first before getting beaten up by a big religious fanatic.

If you're talking about fanatics who murder people of their own and other faiths in the name of their 'religion' then I agree with you and you should be proud that you are fanatical about these people. These people are scum and do not deserve the life they have been given. If they believe that they have the right to murder innocent people in the name of their God then they are pure evil.
Nuff said!

No, they are what is wrong with society. I never met a religious fanatic that didn't hide behind religion to cover up what a terrible person they actually are.
Who are most of the child molesters? Who rips people off in the name of religion? Who are the most self centered? The ones who are extremely religious that's who.

Perhaps, but asking religious people to not be fanatical is impossible. If someone truly believes something, they will die for it. Are you willing to die for what you believe? If so, then you are a fanatic or a zealot if that strokes your ego.
