Is there something in the Bible that allows this? If you know where in the Bible this is located...please include that in your response. TIA.

I am not just talking about the current situation...I mean all wars and conflicts.

Again...not trying to offend I'm just curious.

So to all who will report this...go right ahead...I'll just ask another one.

Have a wonderful day.

Every human society throughout history and around the world has a belief in God, even though their understanding of God may differ. Our innate desire to experience the transcendent, to have value and meaning even after death, can only be accounted for if there is a God who implanted these beliefs and desires in us.The early Christian church father Augustine, said, "Our hearts are restless until they find their meaning in God." Don't YOU feel that emptyness that longing to fill that missing part?

Plus how can you feel pain with out a brain.
What is it a state of mind?
O wait we don't have minds when we're dead.
I kicked a tree once, did'nt seem to scream out in pain, maybe....because it's dead?

I was raised Christian, but the more I learned, the more it became clear that the whole story of the virgin birth, son of god thing is basically a collection of stories other sects were telling before the time of christ. Christian principles of love are great, but the story itself is an allegory. Actually believing that christ was born of a virgin and rose from the dead is akin to believing in magic. Any other fallen Christians, Jews, Muslims or anything else ot there?

explained by an infinite Moral Lawgiver, or God.Ethics are not merely a matter of convention, agreement, intuition, or genetic programming, but instead reveal the existence of a Moral Lawgiver whose ethical nature provides an adequate foundation for moral absolutes in human society.for example, the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews was not merely subjectively wrong or evil, but objectively and absolutely evil.individuals might consider it evil through intuition, societies might judge it by its social destructiveness, and communities might agree that it is evil because the majority of people agree; but none of those subjective, human-based ethics can adequately account for the absolute ethic that it is always and absolutely wrong to do these things - or, for example, to torture innocent children. Such absolute ethics are not dependent on human thought or conscience, but on the Moral Lawgiver who is beyond the limits of the universe in which we live, RIGHT???

I see why too much hatred of Christians on this site and in the world. Just like all hatred and intolerance it seems to be born out of ignorance. This opinion is based on some of the ridiculous questions and comments that have made in this site and in the media (some even by our elected representatives).

All I see is a bunch of people who appear to have been told that Christians are judgemental, hateful and stupid. Too me this is the same blind stupidity that Christians are accused of.

We've got millions of extremist Muslims that want to murder you and everyone you know. But the Christians are seen as the biggest threat mankind has ever known. What is that all about?

Why would anyone have the ridiculous notion that th KJV is the only proper version of the bible? Any decent linguist will tell you it was poorly translated. Also it has only been around about 400 years. Are you saying Christians before that weren't saved? What about the majority of the world that doesn't speak english? The Word is about the content, quit nit-picking and walk in His path. That's more important, isn't it?

A followup to the below question,
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqUWPbdkoIoeX05_RTR0UHHsy6IX?qid=20061023092108AAl0GA2
where someone answered with Lev 18:22 that homosexuality is an abomination and this is motivation for the protest of gay marriage,

Leviticus 11:9-12 states clearly that the eating of shrimp is an abomination.

Why are Christians not protesting long john silvers and red lobster?

When will Christians admit that the protesting of gay marriage is not about abomination, sin, God, the Bible, but about their own homophobia.

If it was really about God and abominations, we would see Christians picketing Long John Silver. We do not.
