I was raised Christian, but the more I learned, the more it became clear that the whole story of the virgin birth, son of god thing is basically a collection of stories other sects were telling before the time of christ. Christian principles of love are great, but the story itself is an allegory. Actually believing that christ was born of a virgin and rose from the dead is akin to believing in magic. Any other fallen Christians, Jews, Muslims or anything else ot there?

i was raised southern baptist (ugh) and had christianity shoved down my throat until i became a teenager and refused to continue going to church. i researched different types of religions (buddhism, hinduism, wicca, ect), and basically they've got the same underlying rule: do no harm. these days, i prefer to not put a label on my faith, because it's not like the dewey decimal system. i believe what i believe, i could be wrong, but if i am, i accept that i am only human, and i'm not supposed to be right about everything.

I wouldn't say fallen or even Jack. there are something about my religion I find fishy too. Not about the Virgin Mary or about the Reserection but more or less about the "power" or "roles" have with men where as women are the side kicks? I am sorry but I think women in religion plays more a powerful role then the men. I think men have "intitled" themselves with power.

The Bible says that there are mysteries that he will only reveal to use when we get to heaven. Now trying to make sense of the wonders God does is pointless because he is GOD....rest assure that if you give your whole being over to him and ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes you will see things from a whole diffrent perspective. Let Jesus guide you and stop trying to have explanations for everything!! Hope this helps.

I was raised Catholic and fell away from the chruch for five years or so to study Wicca. I went back to the church because it felt right in my soul. I believe in God, Jesus and Mary with all of my being.

Lapsed Catholic, here. The more I see of organized religions af any sort, the more I come to see that ALL of them are about money and power. I believe in a God, and the earth is my church. My "religion" has one rule: "Do unto others that which you would have them do unto you".

I was raised to question, investigate and question some more. I do have a firm belief in a universal God and in the soul, but will probably always question everything, including his/her domain/lifestyle/purpose/ intent/etc.

I wasn't raised in any form of religion but I choose buddhism because it makes sense to me. See www.buddhanet.com and www.meditationthai.org
