I haven't left yet, I have to wait till I turn 18 which is soon, but I have made up my mind to leave. However, I always find that if someone asks a question about the mormon religion or has a misunderstanding, I always try to clear it up or answer it. I don't get why I do it.

My aunt got divorced about a year ago. She is now dating another guy. If she marries him then she is living in a state of adultery.

Should I worry about her soul? I mean if she remarries and dies before repenting wouldn't her soul be condemned to an eternity in Hell?

Please, don't tell me only God knows just give me your opinion. I just want to know if I should be worried and if you think she would go to Hell for not repenting.

For the following passages or parts of the Bible:

Luke 10
Acts 4

How would they demonstrate our Christian obligation to serve others? ***

***I don't mean you would give me direct answers to them...what I want is ideas and your opinions towards it.

Thank you very much

If we understand that a person loses, beyond the five senses, the consciousness? One only vegetates and when one dies, all the information in the brain is destroyed.
What would be the human illusionism that makes us believe in spirits, souls, saints and other abstracts that are not only based on DNA and RNA genetics (formed by billions of chemical bases) in the parents, passed on to their children?

I do not deny that there are mummy's and that people have been around for a long time. I just want a neutral view on the missing link. Not links to sight who's only focus is to defile intellegent design, and not the later either. I want neutral information.

Am I comming in clear?

This Lil Piggy says: There isn't, hans't been and isn't likely to ever be one shred of emprical data to suggest the existence of anything even remotely godlike. Shouldn't that suffice?

I love this guy, and he tells me he loves me too. We are both single. There is a married woman who is after him. He talks to her, she tells him she loves him, and he tells her he loves her.
Am I friggin stupid? Should I be jealous, should I be nice to her, should I walk away, should I just stand back and wait to see what happens with him?

Many regard Jesus as a magician, with a cult following.

When I said "go back". I meant back to family values and morals. Where sex and violence isn't the majority of entertainment. I feel like I am so limited as to what I can watch because I feel I am always shutting off the TV. My morals are "old fashioned" and are being extinguised from the community.

I didn't mean I wanted to start a revolution. I just get so angry at all of the negative things in society. I think is it funny how everyone got on the defensive though.

I just want a better world for my son to live.

So I guess my question was better said, what if Christians stopped watching inappropriate Television shows etc....

A) How many of us (regardless of religious faith) are angry or like to cause/add to conflict, like to argue, be sarcastic and belittling, or slam people with their answers? Pick A.

B)How many of us are peacemakers and like to offer advice, help, respect, or some words of kindness in their answers? Pick B.

Let's have a look at some of the christian areas in the world and see why they are christian.

Europe

Christianity becomes entrenched as part of European culture as a result of Constantine's wishes.

Africa

European christians invade Africa, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

North America / Australia

European christians invade, steal land from the native population, nearly wipe out the native population and then come in such droves as to come to completely dominate the area after several generation.

Central America / South America / Phillipines

European christians invade, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

The spread of christianity worldwide doesn't quite seem as glorious now does it ?

Islam doesn't fare much better.

I often see Christians in here challenging atheists to prove the non existance of god. They see this as a way of proving god does exist. Their logic seems to be this : If you can't prove for sure that god does not exist, well then he must exist !

So, on to my question.

Christians, can you prove non existance of invisible fairies who fly around in the clouds all day ?

I don't want bible verses, or religious stuff, I just want an answer to the above question about the existance of invisible fairies.

.......all about love, peace and acceptance............. until you disagree with them.

Then the hate and threats of hell spew out. Isn't that hypocritical ?

It's a case yes I'll love and accept you........ as long as you believe as I do.

Why do we have to bend over backwards in the US, France, GB, and other countries where Muslims have made their mark, to suit them and their codes of ethics based on religion? Right now, i am mainly speaking of the US, because we don't tolerate religion in public schools anymore, of any sort. However, Muslims get to slip through the cracks because we are so scared of the backlash if we don't. If a Muslim girl gets suspended from PS122 in Brooklyn for a legit reason, it's all over the news, all over the Muslim world 16 hours later, and next thing you know, five innocent Christian Military contractors in Iraq are taken hostage or slaughtered. That's the usual rundown.

Anyways, we go to their "Islamic" nations, as atheists, Buddhists, Christians, Jews...etc, and oh boy. We are to assimilate or incur the wrath of the Sharia Polizei. God, this is such a massive double standard and injustice that it's sickening. Why? How many missionaries have to die and be held captive in Iran?
