I often see Christians in here challenging atheists to prove the non existance of god. They see this as a way of proving god does exist. Their logic seems to be this : If you can't prove for sure that god does not exist, well then he must exist !

So, on to my question.

Christians, can you prove non existance of invisible fairies who fly around in the clouds all day ?

I don't want bible verses, or religious stuff, I just want an answer to the above question about the existance of invisible fairies.

In this vast and diverse ecology we live in there is no telling what may be flying around. I cannot prove or disprove God's existence. All I can do is stand by my faith which is strong enough to not be shaken by questions like this. My faith also allows me to say that if you are an atheist then you have chosen your path and I respect you for making a decision instead of riding the fence. It is much more honorable.

That's why GOD demands faith. In the garden, Knowledge destroyed the faith of man. Man will still search for evidence forever. Read The case for Christ & The case for faith, by Lee Stroble. In his search to prove his atheist belief, he found the evidence was overwhelming for the existence of the two. And therefore became a born-again believer. Setting out to Prove, by means that would hold up in any court of law, that Christ and Faith are very real and credible.

Proving the existence of anything that can't be experienced by any of the 5 senses is impossible. Whether you believe in fairies or God, it is a matter of faith which by its very nature is not provable. So, it would be pointless to try to do either. You believe it or you don't.

Even though the thought of fairies flying around our heads is pleasant, its probably not very probable. So, therefore, lots of people think that the existance of God is improbable.

But do you see any signs of invisible fairies? Any signs that they just might be flying around?

How about signs of God? THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!! Look at a flower, a tree, a bird, a person. Its God's art.

You fail to understand that the kingdom of G-d exists inside a person. When a person embraces a llife of faith, their spirit comes alive. they encounter the Divine; the supernatural; the eternal.
They now KNOW what they once wanted to know. Things they considered are suddenly a reality. things they hoped for are now coming to pass. This is something that all Believers know.
You cannot use the head (logic) to explain the heart (faith); they are two separate entities.
I encourage you to keep challenging Christians. G-d appreciates those willing to search out their beliefs, & you are doing that.

If you are referring invisible fairies to God, well, He's not some person with a magic wand that grants things. We believe in God through faith, and because He actually does wonderful things. You don't hear of fairies doing great things like miracles.
Atheists believe that there is no God, basically that there is no true belief. But that's a belief in itself.

Your question assumes that Chrsitians can prove or reveal God to someone. The fact is God himself reveals himself to those who seek him and have value in him. No man can reveal God he has athority over who he reveals himself to. I can sew seeds the seeds can fall on good ground or bad ground. Only God can make a tree grow. He is true and available to all but not all will accept him. I do not seek to prove nor disprove anything to you. I know what God has revealed to me and I know what God can reveal to you but it is your free will and choice as to what you believe. I believe in freedom of religion and from religion and every man is and should be free to believe as he sees fit.
