No He was not walking on stones. Jesus called Peter out of the boat and Peter was walking on the water and then Peter started to fear the storm and took his eyes off of Jesus and then Peter started to sink and he called for Jesus to help him and Jesus put out His hand and brought Peter up. So that shows us that if Peter was able to sink then Jesus should have also. The point of the story to me is...that no matter how bad the storm in our life as long as we keep our eyes on the Master we will be the victor. If we do falter all we have to do is turn back and ask Jesus for help and He is ALWAYS there for us.

There have been many theories advanced about Jesus by those who were uncomfortable with his teachings and divinity claim. In my opinion it is more about people not wanting to feel accountable for their conduct than any physical evidence advanced through investigation.

Author of the book: Mysteries of the universe? Philosophical reflection of Tarcisio? It says that the universe starts in conscience of the life and finishes it in the unconscious one for who dies.

Jesus walked on water, when one of the disciples took his eyes off of Jesus when he tried to walk toward Jesus, the disciple plunged into the deep water. The water was very deep where they went fishing.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
When Jesus asks us to trust in Him and walk towards Him , as long as we keep our eyes on Him we will not fail or fall. But as soon as we look down and take our eyes off of Him, that is when we fall and fail. Just the way the disciple did when he took his eyes off of Jesus and fell into the deep waters.
Matthew 14:29-30 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

He didn't walk on a smooth lake but on a lake in the middle of a fierce storm with large waves crashing everywhere. Your stone theory doesn't work.

He walked on water, as it says.
Remember when Peter also did that, & then started sinking when his faith gave out?

You ask rather pathetic questions which you know if you seek the knowledge you would find wisdom.
Go eat your donut.
