JESUS offers forgiveness and a new start-with amazing grace that saved a wretch like me.

weed offers you jail time, burned out brain, psychological addiction-even to come and defed breaking the law-verses the joy of the new birth with power to do right and live happier than anything that came from the curse on the earth for mankinds sin-along with poison and other things.

well what will you chose-I pray you already chose Jesus-and if not you will -

as you waste your life-finding other things to be your god hoping it will give you the happiness and maybe that JEsus lied about salvation and the joy of heaven-or if we chose against Jesus and free salvation the never ending torment of hell

I prayed and got higher than ever and respect for others-females too-that they are worth respecting and treating them with care instead of using them and sayin I love you when deap in my heart it was the words of lust -because i had rejected marriage and honor and Jesus who would Save me!!

Hmm, I think I might be trying to make another one of those points I keep talking about, wonder if EVERYONE will get it,

something however tells me 99% of the atheists agnostics are going to get it and 99% of the non-fundamentalist religious people are going to get it and 99% of the fundamentalist christians are going to tell me I need Jesus.

I quit drinking and drugging several months ago and although I've succeeded in severing ties and associations with certain kinds of people and places not conducive to being "clean," I've not necessarily been successful in ways of finding other people/places to replace that. In an effort to correct the problem I've made various attempts attending local churches and related events. Seems that Christian types just really aren't that receptive to me being where they're at, to say the least. I'm well- groomed, intelligent and my attitude is basically optimistic and friendly. I'm not exactly in that category of beautiful people, but then again, I'm not hideous, either. And so I'm wondering what the problem is. Is it me or them?

a friend of mine said thats what he thinks. I personaly think if there is a god he was not doing anything because soon alot of people would die and be with him, but they were all jews so in christian retrospect they would go to hell. just wondering.

I've been Christian, Agnostic (rather more a Deist because I retained a belief in a "higher being") and now I find myself studying the Bible and going to Church again, although there is some lingering doubts, but my life has meaning! I mean seriously, if there's no God, then why shouldn't we be totally self serving individuals? Right now, I'm finding it hard to believe that an Athiest cannot be anything but a selfish individual (because there's nothing else to serve but himself). I'm not trying to indict or judge the individuals themselves, just judge or understand the ideologies. I can certainly see why someone might not believe in a God because in some lines of reasoning that makes sense given the current condition of the World... But I want to understand why some people feel their man-made ideologies work to serve a better purpose, and are not just some random charade. Or do you just not give a flip?

Just an excerpt:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels."

"Of humble origins, Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world's great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive."

Let's be honest, when there are people out there who are undecided or are willing to convert, and they see Creationists who basicaly say "deny science and reason so you can believe as we do," don't you think it turns rational people off?

Most rational people will just say, "hey, these people will just believe whatever they want, weather it is true or not. Have they used the same methods to arrive at their belief in God as well?"

Are there Christians out there who see the Creationists and think, "Hey, you're not helping our cause." (This is kind of how I feel when I see 9/11 conspiricy wackos out there trying to get the Bush administration out of office. Worthy cause, bad argument).

Your thoughts?

According to the christian religion the first humans on earth(Adam and Eve) were white. Then from there where did the different races come from, white families offspring couldn't just magically turn out to be a different race. Evolution? That might be the answer, but the christian religion does not accept that there was evolution in the world. So where did all these different races come from?

I'm sorry but i'm still trying to improve my spellings and grammer.

Sky News reported that the national carrier of England, British Airways, has suspended, pending dismissal, a flight attendant for wearing a crucifix.

As a demonstration of solidarity, should Christians refrain from flying British Airways until they offer apologies to the Son of the living God, Jesus Christ, His Church and the flight attendant.
