Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

Who are the workers of iniquity that were apparently able to think that they were in the will of God?

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.....Revelation 19:10.....Who is this ( person ) speaking to John?...
[I have a thought], wondering what others think...Thank You

Why do they do this, do they expect God to do everything for them in life. And when something does happen how can they blame it all on God?

I am not saying that I am religious or not, my beliefs have nothing to do with the question.

Do you give to charity regularly?
When you give do you have a regular amount you give to the poor?
What percentage of your assets do you give to charity?
Does your religion tell you to give?
If you don't give to charity, why don't you?

Someone said Taxes is Charity... do you agree?

(Ps.I am Muslim islam makes it mandatory to give 2% of your assets to charity every year, also it recommends to give extra to the poor if you can)

Most of you believe that the devil himself deceives people into 'choosing' the gay lifestyle. If that is so, where was God when I was 6 years old to protect me from being deceived by the devil? I remember that age so well because that's when I first fell in lust with another boy, my friend's older brother. I first noticed him when he came to pick up my friend at the end of the first day of my first grade year of elementary Catholic school---he was the most beautiful creature I had ever laid my young eyes on at that time. That boy got me hot and bothered, though I did not know exactly what it meant at that moment. All I remember was this intense need to touch that boy in the oddest of places. I blush when I think about it now. I honestly believe, from that day on, I'd started my life of 'sin’ because boys became my sole interest. Girls became like furniture---they filled up a room and were always in the way. So, I suppose now you all good christians will tell me that children at that age can 'choose' to be gay, because God would allow them to be deceived? How do you rationalize this? And please don’t tell me that what I just related is an experience unique only to myself, because many homosexuals can relate a similar story.

Same question to the Muslims: would you be Muslim if you were born in, for example, a Christian community?

I would like to know how much your faith is/was influenced by your surrounding.

I can answer a question that does not come from an opinion (for example: What color is the grass in your front yard? answer: green.) and still get some thumbs down. Is that just stupid or what?

I know this isn't the most unique question, but feh. so what.

to everyone, what would it take to change your beliefs? that is, if your religious, what would it take to "prove" to you that god doesn't exist. if your atheist, what would it take to prove to you that God/meatphysics/spirituality was real?

personally I think it'd be very hard to prove such to me, as most of my beliefs are reinforced by personal experience. I honestly can't imagine anything specific that would disprove it to me summarily.

and also, how do you think it would change you, or your actions, thoughts, ect, if such occured? would it be an easy change? would you go insane? what?

For argument sake, lets just say a Big Bang was used to set everything in motion. While I see a lot of non-believers saying they dont believe, they wont believe, and evan if they had "proof" they still wouldnt believe

I've heard people say the universe came from all the original materials; but where did the materials come from?

If you say the Big Bang, then you need to answer where, what, and/or who started the very first bang!?Becuase if you follow this logic then there were no materials around until the bang actually happened. So please tell me how you explain this without God in the picture?

My relationship broke down just last week. I went in to the open (walking my dog) and talked to god. I asked him, well begged not to break up my family and to give me strength to find a way to pull it back together. Needless to say I am now more alone than I have ever been. So I suppose my question is if there is a God why did he say no, when this relationship was the best thing to happen to me and my partner and our dependants

You gotta make sense of the world anyway you can, but if you're trying to convert everyone then you have major insecurities.

"Extremely low self-esteems are compensated for by delusions of grandeur and megalomania, a narcissistic neuroses. With the propensity to act only on behalf of one's self, the unbridled need to feed one's ego, and the objectification of others to serve the power-hungry needs of megalomania, it is easy to see how this can be a recipe for disaster, especially when wrapped in a charismatic personality. Paradoxically, a person who exhibits such tremendous ego and self-confidence in reality has such low self-esteem and such a fragile ego that he cannot abide any expression other than his own, for fear of annihilation of the self. Therefore everything that is not under his control is perceived as a threat."

For what purpose do you wear it?
I wear a Crucifix and a Brown Scapular. I also wear a small head covering. I do these things to remind me who I am and who I follow. It helps me to keep my feet on the path I have chosen.
