Dear Jim Darwin,

No. Eating cloned pork and shrimp does not offend me. When you quoted Leviticus 11:7-12, this was a ceremonial law for the Hebrews. It was to be followed at that particular time. However, after Christ rose from the dead Christians (born again believers) are no longer under the O.T. ceremonial law. Keeping any law, ceremonial or moral, never could guarantee salvation. Salvation is a work of God (Jesus Christ) alone. People cannot do anything to merit salvation--it is the Lord's Sovereign choice and grace.

Jim you could eat a cloned turd and I wouldn't care, but if you look at how "Dolly the cloned Sheep" turned out are you really sure you'd be getting the pork and shrimp?

yes it would, because your mocking....if you had to eat it and there was not other means, God is a god of provision, and would not want you to starve. Bless in the name of the Lord to nourish your body and move on!
