Gots some specifics.
There are some conflicts in the Bible, which is written by man and man gets things wrong. I mean MAN has filmmaker and artist Evelyn Lambert wrong in EVERY single textbook and I know it for a fact for I talked with her at great length and she hoped I could eventually right that wrong. Al these MEN, by the way, have MA and PHD degrees in Cinema-Theater!
God has also changed his mind or softened it. After the Flood, he made the covenant with Noah.
After Moses broke the first set of 10 commandments God cooled down and re-wrote them for him.
We don't know if God created before. God might be a first time father and even God can't always be rigth.
Some people like to think God is always right, but I mean if Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell get to heaven and Peter says their names aren't in the book of life, I'll bet you $$$$ to DoNuts they are going to Question that ommission! Which means THEY are going to question God!
Which means they are going to Say, Hey, maybe God got it wrong, or it was a slip up.
YOu KNOW that's going to happen. You KNOW the POPE is going to soil the papal robes if he's told, Sorry, NEXT!
And NO one know who will be in that book.
Let's real world this
If you ever have a child and one day you discover 5,000 one gram parcels of Crack Cocaine in his closet that he is selling at school WHAT ARE YOU AS A FATHER GOING TO DO.
LEt's face it, if the FBI breaks in they can CONFISCATE your house forever. Just take it away from you, Federal LAw allows this.
Now, Jim Darwin, God, what are you going to do will Little Jimmy Darwin you're seeming precioius 17 year old son who turns out to be a big time crack dealer!
Jesus blew a fuse when he walked into the temple and saw rooster fights and money lenders and bingo tables.
Remember GOD created MAN is his own image, hence Man is very much like God only more infantile.

Whatever is stated as an abomination to the Lord is still an abomination. The statements about an abomination to Israel had to do with their separation from the world. God still hates everything that He has stated that He hated.

Everything that is impure is an abomination to God. But it is not said that yet thee who are unpure cannot be made pure again. Like unpure ore we have to be purified with fire to be made clean again. God has never changed his mind on what is an abomination to Him but man has seen fit to judge what God considers an abomination by his own choice not by the dictation of God. And that man who shall be judged accordingly.

He doesn't change his mind...where do you get that? It says in the Bible exactly what is an abomination is and what are considered abominations. God doesn't switch what he believes.

How do you know that God changed his mind about anything ?Are you in direct communication with God ? I'm a non-believer but I'd change real fast if I had a direct line to the big boss.
Tell us your secret.

Maybe "it" said shrimp were an abomination 'cause "it" ate bad shrimp once, and got really sick. But then, one day, "it" went to a good restaurant, like Phillips Seafood, and got some really good shrimp, and decided maybe the ban was a bit hasty?
Maybe God just needs to get out more =)

I assume you're referring to eating unclean foods. I can't think of any other way to explain it except that God changed His mind... Christians only accepted ten of the 613 commandments. The way I understand it is that God sent His only son to die an excrutiatingly painful death on the cross with thousands of other Jews so that Christians could eat pork, shellfish, etc. That's the "kind and loving" God they speak of!

God doesn't, religious leaders do. The bible and other religious books have been changed throughout the yearsw to inflict the teachings of religious leaders of the times on their congregations. That's why the catholic andprotestant bibles are different.Luther and Calvin only wanted the bad parts to be in it to scare their flocks into submission.
