feel the need to make others feel bad ?
i refer to the question below
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061015123533AAndeYI&r=w&pa=FZptHWf.BGRX3OFMhzRcVIfym_yZLGveIwl5qf5aySXmSEPiksCNHMceJb49JlNObX1kKMKzncRwBkuDlQ--#F8EoUjbvUGWpcuLGZJ2viVKZB18o7K_mOeTx9ptBr.A_L_tNbRha
it is very obvious that this person is grieving and yet is to be told , that if her father wasnt good , he will be burning in hell
if this truly is your belief .. then please please please ... learn when it is not appropriate to say such things ... like in that question

there is a big difference between political correctness and being sensative and compassionate to others
if you dont understand that then there is something very wrong

I think there is more contentment with reality than religious superstition. This is one of the pronblems with religion. It touts itself as something that eases people's minds about the future, but it can do quite the opposite.
I'm sure that religious people feel that the idea of Heaven and Hell is soothing, but really it is just another arbitrary source of anxiety. Nobody is going to Hell or Heaven. People just die. Just be content that they live on in your memories and realize that however short someone's life is, yours is not much longer. At least you don't have to worry about suffering after you die.

I do not answer that kind of questions where people are talking out of grievance, except for very exceptional reasons, OR if I have something nice to say.
BTW, how do you create a link to a particular answer, rather than to the top of the page itself?

I cant believe how some people are as insensitive as well as uncaring. I think these kind of people have the urge to deride, hurt and abuse others from behind monitors because they have low self-esteem. They dont realise how much these off the cuff comments stick in others minds.
Time for respect and tolerance of others feelings i think

I have witnessed this type of thing before on this forum.
I can't even comment. Senseless, cruel, and vicious!
Her comment served no purpose other than to inflict more pain on an already grieving person.

People like that make me sad, they are very rude and inconsiderate...

To put out a question on this type of forum is asking for all and any kind of answer from childish and/or insensitive to the other extreme. Fortunately you can give a bad answer a thumbs down and never have to read it all the way through.

Bloody Hell
Political Correctness is bad enough but certainly has no business in Yahoo Answers.
If Muslims believe non Muslims will rot in hell in much the same way I believe all who do not repent, which by definition includes all Muslims, will burn in Hell, then why shouldthey not say so.
Why do we always say nice things abut the dead anyway, they can't sue for libel or slander can they.

I think other people try to make others feel bad because of some inner fear or feelings of inadequacy.
