I will answer your question about what the muslim believes and show you Jesus Christ in contrast.
A Contrast Between Mohammed and Jesus
Mohammed's method was COMPULSION; Christ's aim was voluntary CONVERSION (Acts 3:19).
Mohammed's disciples killed for the faith; Christ's disciples were killed for their faith (Acts 12:2; 2 Tim. 4:7).
Mohammed was a prophet of war; Christ is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6-7).
Mohammed promoted persecution against the "infidels"; Christ forgave and converted the chief persecutor (1 Tim. 1:13-15).
Mohammed was a taker of life; Christ is the giver of life (John 10:27-28).
Mohammed and his fellow warriors murdered thousands; Christ murdered none but saved many (compare John 12:48).
Mohammed practiced FORCE; Christ preached FAITH (John 6:29,35).
Mohammed was a WARRIOR; Christ is a DELIVERER (Col. 1:13; 1 Thess.1:10).
Mohammed conquered his enemies with the sword; Christ conquered his enemies with another kind of sword, the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Heb. 4:12; Acts 2:37).
Mohammed said to the masses, "Convert or die!"; Christ said, "Believe and live!" (John 6:47; 11:25-26).
Mohammed was swift to shed blood (Rom. 3:15-17); Christ shed His own blood for the salvation of many (Eph. 1:7).
Mohammed preached "Death to the infidels!"; Christ prayed "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).
Mohammed declared a holy war (Jihad) against infidels; Christ achieved a holy victory on Calvary's cross (Col. 2:14-15) and His followers share in that victory (John 16:33).
Mohammed constrained people by conquest; Christ constrained people by love (2 Cor. 5:14).
Modern terrorists derive their inspiration from Mohammed and carry out their despicable atrocities in the name of his god Allah; Christians derive their inspiration from the One who said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9).
Some modern day disciples of Mohammed responded to the terrorist attacks by cheering in the streets; modern day disciples of Christ are deeply grieved at past atrocities carried out by those who were "Christians" in name only (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc.).
Many Muslims are peaceful and peace-loving because they do not strictly follow the teachings of their founder; many Christians are peaceful and peace-loving because they do strictly follow the teachings of their Founder (Rom. 12:17-21).
Mohammed called upon his servants to fight; Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world; if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight . . .but now is My kingdom not from here" (John 18:36)
Mohammed ordered death to the Jews (see A.Guillaume, The Life of Muhammad, Oxford University Press [1975], p. 369); Christ ordered that the gospel be preached "to the Jew first" (Rom. 1:16).
The Koran says, "Fight in the cause of Allah" (Qu'ran 2.244); the Bible says, "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal" (Eph. 6:12; 2 Cor. 10:4).
The Koran says, "Fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them" (Qu'ran 9.5); Christ said, "Preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).
The Koran says, "I will inspire terror into the hearts of unbelievers"Â (Qu'ran 8.12); God inspires His terror (fear, reverential awe) into the hearts of believers (Isaiah 8:13).
The Koran (Qu'ran) is a terrorist manual which condones fighting, conflict, terror, slaughter, and genocide against those who do not accept Islam; the Bible is a missionary manual to spread the gospel of peace to all the world (Rom. 10:15).
Mohammed's Mission was to conquer the world for Allah; Christ's mission was to conquer sin's penalty and power by substitutionary atonement (2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 3:18).
Mohammed considered Christ a good prophet; Christ pronounced Mohammed to be a false prophet (John 10:10; Matt. 24:11).
Mohammed claimed that there was but one God, Allah; Christ claimed that He Himself was God (John 10:30-31; John 8:58-59; John 5:18; John 14:9).
Mohammed's Tomb: OCCUPIED! Christ's tomb: EMPTY!
A Contrast Between Allah and Yahweh
Allah was created by Mohammed in the 7th Century AD; Yahweh CREATED Heaven & Earth BEFORE THERE WAS TIME
Allah is the god of Islamic people; Yahweh is The One True God of ALL and Owner of the fullness of Heaven and Earth
Allah is the god of the Quran; Yahweh is the God of the Bible
Allah is the god of HATE; Yahweh is the God of LOVE
Allah is the god of Vengeance; Yahweh is the God of Forgiveness
Allah needs his people to fight for him; Yahweh fights for His people
Allah can lie; Yahweh Can NOT Lie
Allah can be CAPRICIOUS and Unknowable; Yahweh is TRUSTWORTHY, does NOT Change, and honors His Word above His Name, and desires that we come to KNOW Him as our Father.
Allah has NO Savior; Yahweh gives FREE Salvation through the Blood Sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son Yeshua The Messiah, Jesus The Christ.
Allah MIGHT give salvation by our WORKS; Yahweh offers salvation as a FREE Gift of His Grace through the work of His Son The Lord Jesus Christ.
Allah has no mediator; Yahweh gave Yeshua, Jesus, as the one and only Mediator
Allah does not talk to people; Yahweh communicates with His people
Allah gives NO WAY to be certain of eternal life; Yahweh gives ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY of Eternal Life
Allah is the moon god; Yahweh is the Creator of Heaven and Earth
Allah is the god of War; Yahweh is the God of Peace
Allah is the god of bondage; Yahweh is the God of Freedom
Allah is a god of religion; Yahweh is the God of Relationship
Allah Commands Murder of infidels; Yahweh Forbids Murder of Anyone
Allah permits 4 wives; Yahweh forbids Adultery
Allah allows no certainty of Eternal Life; Yahweh gives Absolute Certainty of Eternal Life
Allah calls for a walk in the Flesh; Yahweh calls for a walk in the Spirit
Allah is concerned with the Outward Appearance; Yahweh is concerned with obedience from the Heart
Allah says the 6th day is holy; Yahweh says the 7th day is holy
Allah AKA moon god, Lucifer, Satan, the devil; Yahweh AKA, God of Abraham, God of Israel, and God Almighty, and The God and Father of The Lord Jesus Christ

here u go:
I'm telling u some of the general beliefs. I should also request you to please not to look for Internet for answers. Because u do not know what is true and what is not.
A muslim believe that there is One God, Allah. Allah means One and Only. That he has no son, nor daughter, nor any parents nor a wife.
A muslim believe in the Day of Ressurection, of the Afterlife, of how a terrible torment will be in Hell and what a good life will be in paradise.
A muslim believe in angels and jinns. Jinns are creatures we are unable to see and they are created from a smokeless fire.
A muslim believes in all the prophets that Allah sent down to earth from time to time to warn people when they were led astray. They believe in Hazrat Isa (jesus christ) but they do not believe that he is the son of god or part god. THey believe that JEsus Christ was Prophet sent down. They believe in Hazrat Musa (moses). They believe in Adam and Hawa (eve) and all other prophets wether mentioned or not. They believe that Prophet Mohammad was the last of the prophets sent down on earth.
A muslim believes in all the revealed books such as the Bible. But a muslim believe that the Bible was corrupted so as to suit the people of those times. They believe that the Quran was the last of the revealed books. They believ that the Quran can never be corrupted. Quran, muslims believe, is the miracle of Prophet Mohammad.
A muslim believes that there are five main pillars of Islam.
1) the shadah. Testomoney of Faith
2) Salaat that is Prayer
3) Zakat that is Charity
4) Saum that is Fast
5) Haj that is Pilgrimage to Makkah......

Islam is a monotheistic religion based upon the Qur'an, which was sent by God (Arabic: الله Allāh) through the holy spirit (Gabriel pbuh) to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) God's final prophet.
Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam is an Abrahamic religion. There are estimated to be 1.4 billion adherents, making Islam the second-largest religion in the world.

I'm not gonna try and convert you. lol
Ill just name some basic things about Islam. We believe in one God who has no son or partner or anything, just ONE God which is very important to us. We believe in angles and Satan and all the prophets including John, Adam, Noah, Jesus, Isaac, etc (peace be upon them) We believe in all the holy books and scriptures, like Bible the Torah etc as books that were sent by God but (we believe) have been altered. Also believing in a Day of Judgment is very important. We believe that when the world ends, God will judge every soul and decide who goes to heaven or hell. Those who go to hell will be punished BUT it wont be eternal. In the end all souls will end up in heaven. There are different stages in Heaven. We cannot really describe how heaven will be because our minds are too simple to comprehend and we wont be in the physical sense we are now. we will be in a different form. we cannot even understand how heaven can be forever. but basically everyone will be happy and perfect.
Modesty is very important is Islam. Men are supposed to dress respectfully, not shirtless, they shouldnt boast or showoff, they have to treat women respectfully not degrade them by looking at their body, or flirt with them or cheat. They need to speak to women with respect for what they have to say not how they look like. so women wear scarves and save their beauty. They wear loose long tops. They arent supposed to strut or show off or boast either. I only wear a scarf in public. You dont wear it at home beause its ur family. us women dont wear scarves on our head in front of gays, or our girlfriends, or children, or the mentally ill people who cant comprehend.
Jihad is supposed to be a struggle, a nonviolent struggle within yourself, but ofcourse the terrorists do not seem to understand that. I dont know what else i can say about the basic points but if theres anything else i didnt cover just ask.
peace

We believe there is no God but one God, the God of Moses, Abraham, Jesus, Mohammed,..etc (peace upon them all) who sent these Prophets (mere humans like us) to guide us to submit to God's way, which is the straight path. Islam means "submission (to God)" A Muslim is one who submits his will to God.
These are the 5 pillars of Islam:
1) To believe there is No God but God and Mohammed is his final messengers (who came to seal the message of the previous Prophets of Islam Abraham, Moses, Jesus,..etc)
2)To pray five times a day.
3) To give charity (zakat) to the poor.
4)To Fast the entire month of Ramadan (this month :D, which I'm doing)
5) If capable,To make pilgrimage to the holy city of mecca to preform the hajj (religious ritual).
Feel free to PM me for more questions...
peace unto you

We Muslims believe in One God, we also believe that God sent messengers to human beings so that they may be guided. Our prophets are Abraham (peace be upon him), Moses (peace be upon him), Solomon (peace be upon him), Isaac (peace be upon him), Ishmael (peace be upon him), Jesus (peace be upon him) and many others.
We believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was a prophet and not son of God. We believe in his miraculous birth (without a father), we also believe that he is the christ, we believe in his second coming.
We do refer to God as the Father, but in Spiritual sense only. Holy Spirit in Islam refers to Angel Gabriel.
We believe that prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last messenger of God and there will be none after him. We believe that God has chosen Islam as the religion of all people till the Judgement Day. We believe whoever dies outside Islam goes to Hellfire, we also believe that associating anybody to God and taking up other deities as gods is a great sin (including worshipping Jesus (peace be upon him)).
We are taught to respect everybody, and Islam teaches justice. We have to be just even to our enemies. We are taught to never lie. We are taught to pray to God and remember Him always, we pray 5 times a day. Fast the whole month of ramadhan every year. And we give charity to the poor and needy.
We pray to the direction of Kaaba (Mecca) because that is the first house of God that was built by prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) himself.
We believe that God is Merciful and He can forgive any sins if the person repents and accepts Islam, we also believe that God's punishment is severe!
And finally Allah in arabic means The One God. And it's used by the Arabic speaking Christians to refer to God. And it was used by Jesus (peace be upon him) himself in his Aramaic language as "Allaaha".
That's my religion Islam, and I am muslim!
