Why do you dislike it so much; most Christians I know (including me) help the world out so much like sending clothes and money to other parts of Earth.

I am Catholic and have decided that I no longer want to be. I want all records that I was a part of the church to be removed. How can I do that? Does the Vatican have all the names of baptised people or something?

how is it the word death changes the perception of life? allowing for the ability of appreciation when suddenly faced with the idea we may no longer have it? Is it because as human beings we strive for more unable to appreciate what we do have?Lost because we are so busy trying to find what we have lost? Or is it what we have lost isnt something to appreciate? And how do we know until we have found what we have lost to make a comparison of what we didnt have?
This is the beginning of a book I am writing called protector of spirits. What are your thoughts on this would you read it, or is it too complicated to read. It's about a little girl who lost her soul, and found the courage to gain it back. What do you think? Only serious answers please no sarcastic comments please

Actually this is a semi-serious inquiry. AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) uses God as a means to stay sober. Do they go to these meetings then? Or just remain drunken sods?

Some claim that proof of God is in the Bible, they cite verses that say someone talked to God. Could a man or a woman write that, in a book, that they talked to God, does writing that in a book mean it happened?

What about other books where people claim they talked to God, or an Angel representing God. I happen to have a Qur'an at home and know that the Prophet Muhummad is believed to have talked to an Angel representing God.

Is the fact that someone says they talked to God or an Angel, does that make it so?

(Um, heh Beavis, no it doesn't make it so)

I just asked if any Muslims would disagree with Muhammad's claim that most of hell is packed with woman. No luck.

So the follow up is this...we know that men do 99% of the murder in the world...testosterone is the culprit. Society generally considers murder to be the worst crime. Slander (analog to "gossip") is a crime in many countries, but it isnt punished anywhere near the crime of murder.

The reason Muslims give me for this gendercide by woman-hating Allah is that woman gossip and gossip is horrible.

So heres the issue...lets assume for the sake of argument that woman gossip more than men and gossip is bad (both major assumptions). Is the horrible 'crime' of gossip worse than murder?

A common response is "its gossip that makes men murder". So, the murderer gets less blame than his supposed gossiper that he claims inspired him? Islam is cool...aint it?

shouldn't christians spend most of their effort of their entire life actually, ACTUALLY, doing god's work. I know the bible says that just "recieving" christ in your heart is the only technical qualification to getting to heaven. But still, Jesus said to be fishers of men; not live life pretty much like everybody else, except go to church on sundays, participate at the church bake sale every once in while, and when people are skeptical of christianity or believe homosexuality is not a sin, pat yourself on the back for telling them that they are "lost" and that god is on YOUR side. If someone believes in Jesus, and they are to be rewarded eternally (as if FOREVER!!!!), but i am not (because i am a secularist) shouldn't they at least spend an AMAZING amount of their life helping the poor and helping the sick and evangelizing to people in third world countries who would never have heard of christ, except not because Jesus requires it, but only because they are so grateful to him?

Biblical scholar Dr. Hugh Schoenfeld maintains that Jesus gave himself a drug that would put him in a catatonic state. After he was presumed dead, he would be removed from the cross. Then he would "come back to life" and claim to be the Messiah. But Jesus got unlucky and was speared by a guard. The book is entitledThe Passover Plot.

when you have let Jesus into your heart-he gives you the power to forgive-why hold a grudge-it only eats out your heart-and doesnt hurt your real enemy-who is---not a person-the same enemy Jesus had-satan came to tempt Jesus--and he uses deamons to try to get us to reject Jesus

Jesus saith satan cometh to decieve destroy and kill, and is the father of lies--- are you deceived? do you believe Jesus and or satan doesnt exist-Jesus is everywhere-omnipresent-Whither shall I go from thee-"No thought can be witholden from thee." Job 42 vs 2

yes Jesus loves you unconditionally-he has a wonderfull and forgiving life for you-will you let him forgive sin and come into your heart to be your friend.

"Vengence is mine I will repay, saith the Lord." Forgive em and if they did wrong-Jesus will correct them-we reap what we have sown-sow good seeds for tomorrows needs John 3SEE

Take the time and reread the above -your happiness and life depend on it!!!! thanks David in Jesus amazing grace

Do you think we are now seeing the gradual death of fad Wicca phenomenon?

On the one hand I see more FMPPHT's explaining differences between Wicca and Neo-wicca, the term Neo-wicca is more wide spread and more people are willing to learn about Wicca or go into other paths. I've seen a definite decrease in ideas such as 'the burning times', and less people claiming to be 'self-initiated'.

On the other hand there are still books by the likes of Ravenwolf, sites such as Witchschool and people who claim to be Wicca despite not knowing what Wicca is, let alone being initiated. I've seen an increase in anti-Wicca ideas that Wicca are elitist, and people throwing hissy-fit declarations 'I'm going to call myself Wicca anyway! You're bashing my beliefs!' trying to seal their right to take a title that does not belong to them.

There is no overnight solution, but do you think we are getting through to people that Wicca has specific beliefs, practices and doctrines?

And, how can you have a relationship with Jesus when the relationship is so one-sided? You have to do for him and he doesn't have to do for you? And if you don't do right in the relationship, eternal torment awaits.

How is that any different than an abusive relationship? For example: A boyfriend tells his girlfriend that if she leaves the relationship, he will kill her. She stays in fear but remains loyal. Only difference is that eternal torture is far worse.

It was written by a biblical scholar. Jesus tried to fake his own crucifixion. He took a potion that would make him appear dead by putting him in a catatonic state. But he got unlucky and died when he was speared by a soldier. Jesus planned to "come back to life" after the potion wore off, and fulfill biblical prophecy. Dr. Hugh Schoenfeld views Jesus as a "charlatan and trickster."

There are odd mathematical relationships between the size of the Moon, Earth and Sun. The orbital characteristics of the Moon and Earth are unlikely to exist by chance alone. For example, the Earth revolves 366 times in one orbit of the Sun and the Earth is 366% larger than the Moon. Conversely, the Moon takes 27.32 days to orbit the Earth and is 27.32% of the Earth’s size. There is no possible relationship between the relative size of the Earth and the Moon and their orbital characteristics, yet the numbers are the same. And that was just the first of many such patterns,” said Knight. “The number 366 was the basis of the ancient measuring system we have reconstructed, and that number keeps popping up along with a small group of round numbers such as 400 and 10,000. For example, the Moon is 400 times closer to the Earth than the Sun and exactly 400 times smaller than the Sun. And in 366 orbits of the Moon, the Earth experiences 10,000 days. Is this just a coincidence, or what?
