Prayer has already been proven not to work...It comes down to the laws of probability....there is no probable way that your ones will become 100's so therefor no amount of praying will help...
whereas when it comes to sickness....there is a probability that the person will get better...so when people pray and the person gets better...they attribute it to prayer...even though the person would have recovered with out prayer also....
but if the person dies....then it was god just making a decision not to answer a prayer...its really idiotic

Well , lets see.
If you prayed that your dollars would become hundreds, what would you do with them?
If the answer is give them right back to God, then they just might become hundreds. But wait! Even if you would give them back to God, there would still be something in it for your own selfish interests and that would be seeing it happen.
God answers heartfelt prayers, not the way we want him to many times, but the way we need them to, according to his knowledge of what we need, not ours.
