According to John McArthurs study Bible Job 38:7 says "When the morning stars sang together" Stars, not star, so more than one enity is being referred to. McArthur's note state that it refers to the angelic realm, God's ministering spirits.
Rev. 22:16 is Jesus referring to Himself as the Bright and Morning Star. McArthur's note state that this is the brightest star announcing the arrival of the day. When Jesus comes, He will be the brightest star who will shatter the darkness of man's night and herald the dawn of God's glorius day. John also refers to the morning star in Rev. 2:28.
Isa. 14:12 in my Bible reads "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning" not morning star. In McArthur's note he gives this statement that will help clear this up: "Lucifer" means "shining one" but some translators have often rendered it "morning star." Tradition of the time saw the stars as representing Gods battling among themselves for places of preeminence.
Hope this helps, I enjoyed researching it!!

Hi there i might be able to answer that question for ya. Ummm and yes i am a bornagain spirit filled beliver. Anyhow concerning the verses u asked about. All 3 of them are refering to stars u are right but they mean diffrent things in the diffrent books. First off in Job, the words morning stars, are refering to all creation in heaven and on earth. When God created the earth, the stars in the sky rejoiced and sang. Secondly, in Isa:14:12 Isreal is speaking of the city of Babylon once a great city in Gods eyes (exampe:day star son of dawn) and due to its own sinful self distruction it fell from Gods eyes. And lastly but not least, Rev.22:16- Jesus is speaking himself of himself saying he is the bright morning star coming forth one day. Hope that helps u out.
God bless

In some verses, angels are called stars.
It's not a contradiction what you have found.
Satan was at one time a high ranking angel, and called a shining star with the rest of the angels.
Notice in Revelation about when Satan is cast out of heaven, along with him went a third of the stars. That is talking about the demons that sided with him.
It symbolism in general. That's all.

Satan likes to think of himself as THE star, and he'll decieve the whole world into thinking the same thing some day, but to no avail, as Jesus, the real Morning Star will promptly arrive and put him in his place.
Isaiah is just taunting Satan when he calls him the Star of the Morning, sort of like calling a guy who's really dumb, by the name "Einstein".
The word "star" as used in Job, and in the Book of Revelation is commonly understood to refer to angels.

Just because one name is used for someone doesn't mean they're the same as another person being called that Like christian use the symbol of the Cross which was pagan worship that doesn't mean were pagan or catholic call mary queen of heaven that doesn't mean she is ishtar or greeks called zeus the father god but he Isn't God the Father.
