I myself never, ever judge a person by their race, religion, sex, sexuality, ethnicity or nationality, I get to know a person personally before I make any opinions of them. If we want to live in a peaceful world this is what every person should be doing and I would encourage you to do this as well. At the end of the day, if we cant live together on this planet side by side in peace we will end up dying together, which do you choose? I choose to live in peace with my neighbours who ever they are and I can that this has worked for me and my local community very well.

Peace or War, we all have to decide.

“(In paradise) Eat and drink pleasantly for what you did…Reclining on thrones set in lines, and We will unite them to large-eyed beautiful ones.” http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/052.qmt.html

“(Regarding Heaven) Then we have made them VIRGINS,” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/056.qmt.html#056.036

The Quran doesnt say what woman get so we are left to assume that Islamic sexism continues in heaven or that they get similar to what men get.

If they get similar, then we might assume that they also get a throne with clueless lovers (virgins) upon it, who are also beautiful and have large organs.

Can you imagine it...a Muslimah who was forced to marry a fat hairy beast of a thing, never having had an orgasm in her entire pathetic life, now in Islamic heaven, on a throne, with handsome men everywhere ready to blast her with more orgasms...

Without islam, the West would not have survived its own barbaric existence. Muslims contribution to the western world - in art, architecture, astronomy, medicine, science, and learning is the basis of our civilization today .

The early Muslims are credited with inventing distillation and could distil just about anything - from alcohol to perfume. Hygiene is very important in the Muslim world so they invented and manufactured soap - centuries before the West - and hundreds of bathhouses were built throughout Muslim cities. They understood the fundamentals of light and how we see, and gave us the camera obscura. They invented algebra and worked out the angle of the tilt of the earth. They built the first windmill, pioneered the concept of the crank rod, and designed the first ever torpedo.

If these laws are obsolete, as I was told in my last three questions, why do Christians always quote Leviticus in regards to Homo sexuality?
Thank you, Tammi Dee

He has expressed a great interest in it lately. I have two for research/entertainment purposes only (deist) and though my son can read well, I don't know if such a book is appropriate for a 6 year old. I mean, he can read well. But a six year olds interpretation is very literal. I would feel the same way about the bible or torah or Upanishads, so please, no bashing now. Should I let the boy read it as he wishes? Or, should I take it away? Right now, I have let him have one of them to read. He keeps asking me questions, but I am not a Muslim. I also don't want to discourage him to follow his heart, no matter what I think. What should I do? (Sorry WDISR)

What does a minister of music do at a church that would require him or her a full-time salary? I think they should have a secular job in addition to the music ministry job because leading the music every Sunday and Wed isn't that difficult...How much do YOU think they should be paid?

Why is it that people don't like to discuss the Bible with them? Are people afraid that they might be shown something from the Bible that contadicts what they already believe, through their clergy?

What if you dont think "large eyes" is beautiful...will you get a normal eyed woman? Isnt this racist, I mean, Asian woman dont fall under this rubric, right?

Suppose you hate monarchies and anything associated with it...do you have to take a "throne"?

Can a throne really be a throne if everyone has one, or just a big seat? Is that what the writers of the Quran really meant...big seats?

I don't care what your beliefs are there is evil. This age is seperating human contact. More emails are sent vs handwriiten letters. Text messages instead of human voice conversations ect. This is making humans unconnected, making us weak. We are dependant and even addicted to machines. Perhaps the demon has a screen name and you chat with him now. I am not a religious freak. Just spiritual and open minded. No stupid responses please.

1.In the time of the ancestors, a man was born to a virgin mother with no biological father being involved.
2.The same fatherless man called out to a friend called Lazarus who had been dead long enough to stink, and Lazarus promptly came to life.
3.The fatherless man himself came alive after being dead and buried three days
4.Forty days later, the fatherless man went up to the top of a hill and then disappeared bodily into the sky.
5.If you murmur thoughts privately in you head, the fatherless man and his ‘father’ (who is also himself) will hear you thoughts and may act upon them. He is simultaneously able to hear the thoughts of everybody else in the world.
6.If you do something bad or something good, the same fatherless man sees all, even if nobody else does. You may be rewarded or punished accordingly, including after your death.
7.The fatherless man’s virgin mother never died but ascended bodily into heaven.
8.Bread and wine, if blessed by a priest (who must have testicles), ‘become’ the body and blood of the fatherless man.

Just one more night, one more score
Another question in my mind, can't take no more
Kissing the tears from my face
As they fall to the ground in the silence

In twilight and faded times, spirits cold, with no love
Bells ring the lonely chime
Candle fire
These lit dreams can't burn alone

Winds of change
Bring songs upon my memory
An empty heart and soul intoxicates me
This darkened page orchestrates my final destiny
Not knowing what
What tomorrow will bring

From within the mirror's eyes
I'm forced to run away and hide
I feel those mystic eyes subside and leave me blind
Through passages in time, a prisoner locked behind the door
Lonely roses slowly wither and die

I can't escape this captive misery
Heart stone cold, under supremacy
Thrown into a raging sea of tyranny
Life's vile walls have tangled me in webs
Eternally within my futures threads, play
The violent strings of my symphony

Transcend
The absence of this fantasy
Just another vision washed away with the tide
No place for forgotten ones
I cannot deny
What lies beyond
Beyond this fantasy

Is it OK? Does it tell you to bring a sandwich and a Jell-O pop?

I keep having Christians telling me that it isn't OK to stone kids in school who steal, cause violence, and are constant problems to techers and students. "What they need is LOVE!!" they say. "Violence will only make them worse", they say.

The same people tell me it's OK to root out and kill terrorists. Don't they need love too? Are they somehow different than children who bring guns and knives to school. Aren't we just making them angrier?

What does your Bible say? "Turn the other cheek"? Or "YEEHAW!! IT'S A KILLIN' FESTIVAL!!! GRAB YOUR ANKLES BOYS, 'CAUSE ITS A WHOOPIN' TIME!!"

Better answer quick, because I have your Bible next to your stupid flag on my barbeque grill...

(Honest question)

If someone receives Christ into their heart but can't wait to be baptized can they themselves baptize themselves? I searched through scripture and found instances where at least two people are present when the actual Baptism occurs. But is that doctrine? Does someone else HAVE to be there?

(I'm already Baptized, this is just a hypothetical question)

Somebody gave me a card the other day. I agreed to at least read it. Are a billion people REALLY feeling guilty cuz a guy ate an apple that a woman gave him 10,000 Years Ago? Am I missing something? I want to understand it better. Apples then would have been small , like a golfball maybe. Even if she stole it off of somebodys tree, so what. Time to let it go maybe?

Buddhism has a prince who gave up his wealth to help the suffering of others I think. A way better story to base a religeon on I think.

Quran 64:14 "O ye who believe! Lo! among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them. And if ye efface and overlook and forgive, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/064.qmt.html

Read this chapter (Surah). Theres no qualification here...just look for "enemies" amongst your wives and children.

If a pious Muslim dutifully follows this wacky aya, will he not create contempt from the family members who feel they are not trusted? Wont this paranoia create the very thing its trying to look for?

Im sorry...I just dont think these are the words of God...uhhh...no...I just cant see it.

Believers constantly ask "It's impossible that the universe was right in the way we evolved." Some claim that no way could things have turned out perfect from the big bang or _____ (insert other theory here) “What are the chances?! It doesn’t make sense!!” someone asked rudely

Don't you think that this outcome IS the prefect way despite all the flaws?! I mean we wouldn't be here if things were messed up!! So since we are here and can acknowledge it, doesn't it mean this is right? That since we evolved and this is the outcome, that somewhere in our evolutionary history all the mistakes were wiped out?

You weren’t there to witness the huge flops in evolution – but wait, since you don't have any proof then it doesn't exist right? But believers get angry at atheists for saying that so they can't use that line. (wink wink nudge nudge)

Why do they think that this is a mistake when natural selection has AND is continuing to dispose of the "mistakes" of our world?
