I don't care what your beliefs are there is evil. This age is seperating human contact. More emails are sent vs handwriiten letters. Text messages instead of human voice conversations ect. This is making humans unconnected, making us weak. We are dependant and even addicted to machines. Perhaps the demon has a screen name and you chat with him now. I am not a religious freak. Just spiritual and open minded. No stupid responses please.

When you understand that the "devil" does have dominion over everything that is physical (yes, your computer, your body, brain and all), then you begin to get the meaning of true wisdom.

However, this does not mean that every new fad is necessarily "bad" for humans. There are a lot of things we do today which would have looked vary baffling or absurd say a hundred or more years ago. Yet we do not complain about them because we practically grew up to find them there.

Somehow, humans will still find a way to make adequate contact with each other no matter the technology that is in vogue. Furthermore, you must realize that such technologies are nothing but copies (perhaps poor ones) of those "above".

Sure. Humans can block electrical signals and such.
I used to use my power to mess with coworkers.
On payday, they were all in a big hurry to leave work and cussed and hit on the time clock. That created a negative bio/magnetic
field coming from their bodies that messed up the current in the clock.
I would walk up and talk to it. Like, "I Know they're being mean to
you." Which calmed the field. Then I could punch right out.
Then it would start messing up again cause everybody
got impatient and created another negative field.
People always said I was wierd. But that was thier own
ignorance. Because I was on my way to MILLER TIME!!!

It was Satan who introduced evil and sin to the world and it is he who will use whatever is at his disposal to further entangle us in sin so that he may lead us to death…a life without God. However the good news is that just as sin entered into the world through one man (Adam), sin has been conquered by one man (Jesus). All who except Jesus Christ as their savior and turn from evil have power over Satan in Jesus. So, take a look at how the “Devil” uses people, computers and the internet to distribute and promote sin.

Size of Pornography Industry:

- Earned $57 billion in worldwide markets
- Earned $12 billion in US markets

Just so you understand the magnitude of that…it grossed more money than the revenues of all professional football, baseball and basketball franchises combined.

Pornography and the Internet:

- There are 4.2 million websites that host pornography
- Search engines record 68 million requests for pornography every day representing 25% of all request
- There are more than 2.5 billion pornographic emails sent every day.
- 35% of all the downloads from the internet are pornographic.
- 60% of all website hits are located on sites that host pornography.

Kids and Pornography:

- The average age of a child’s first exposure to hard core pornography on the internet is 11 years old.
- 80% of 16 year olds have had multiple exposures to hard core pornography on the internet.
- 1 in 5 children who utilize internet chat rooms have been approached by pedophiles.

Let’s take a look at some of the effects of this behavior:

•3000 Marriages end in divorce every day
•3000 Abortions every day
•3400 Unwed births every day
•4600 Teen girls will have sex for the first time every day
•4200 teenagers contract sexually transmitted diseases every day
•6 Teens commit suicide because of broken hearts or out of guilt over a premarital sexual relationship every day.

This is huge. Before the internet people would have to go to the seedy part of town to get access to this sort of porn, now it's available to all with just a click of a mouse....and the best part, nobody even has to know you are looking.

With technological advances, our communication was bound to end up like this. However, in years past when hardly anybody was able to read or write, it may have been conceived that it was the devil doing his work.

I think that is a very weak argument from someone who claims to just be spiritual.

If you say that computers are evil, then almost everything else that is man-made is evil. Including your transportation, or the medicine you take for ailments.

the Bible says the devil seeks to destroy and harm..and it is my conjecture that the devil can and will use things of this world to distract and lead us astray from a relationship with the Lord.
anything that enraptures us so much, as to the point where it becomes more important, or more consuming than our relationship with the Lord is harming and killing us.
this can be computers, but can also be anything of this world that we might place before and above a relationship with God.
just my opinion...

Thanks to these machines, I can keep in contact with loved ones who live far away and make friends who I never would have met before.

I don't know about you but I'm MORE connected to people than ever.

Thanks to email and webcams, my mom can see pictures of her new grandson. I can't find any evil in keeping families closer though they may live far apart.

Perhaps you are right. Maybe we are going through that right now being on the computer and fighting the urge to have to get off of it. Satan comes in many forms.

You are so right!

The devil will use any way he can to put a seperation between God and man.

Using voiceless, anonomous, faceless machines is the perfect way to do that.
