If Jesus died to wash us free from our sins, why does the bible say this: , "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews)

Some said, that Jesus provided the means for us to go to heaven, but does it mean that everyone automatically went to hell before that?

Check how many different religions claim the bible, they can not agree on anything, the bible is a joke. Stick with reality

Yes we all die, but after that follows an eternity either in Heaven or Hell. Jesus will judge. Where do you want to be? It's worth investigating seriously!

That is far from a contradiction.
Not everyone will obey the gospel; those who do not are not saved and will be judged.
Those who obey the gospel and have accepted the gift of salvation are already cleared when judgement comes - because Jesus is the Judge.

I dont see where the contradiction is in your question? Jesus died for our sins, but we have to confess our faith and belief in him in order to be completely relieved of our sin. Otherwise we will all face judgment.

Because when a person dies they face judgement. Judgement decides if you go to heaven or hell. You go to heaven by believing that Jeus died for your sins and asking him to live in your heart (life). Jesus died so that we would have a chance to go to heaven.

God is one. We all are one. And we thus judge:
if one died for all, then were "all dead" = extinction.

Try focusing on salvation rather than extinction,
which is to say on grace rather than on law law.

"Eternal salvation" is "through Jesus -> Christ".
"Through" J->C ends with C: "the end of the law".
In C: there is no law = no sin = no death nor hell.
That sounds like salvation, instead of extinction.

Conclusion of HEBREWS is the same as Revelation:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

The wages of sin is death.... (no idea where it is...Romans I think...) which means, if you sin, you die...Everyone will sin, so everyone will die...

The point of Jesus washing away our sins was so we could get into heaven as noone who has sinned can get to heaven. By dying on the cross and living the perfect life, as long as we ask for forgivness, we can go to heaven.

Thats it in a nutshell, I'm not a church goer...thats my understanding of it....

well this question also bothering me,....but i was educated in chatolic school and christians univesrity,....and based onthat and my christians principle ,..i can answer ur questions as the following:

1.It is stated in the bible that Jesus will be the JUDGE,,,,on judgement day.

2.It is stated that who follow Jesus will have eternal life,...means NOT GUILTY.in wordly /legal terms mean u DONT BREAK THE LAW,..or THERE ISNT SINGLE EViDENT TO CONVICT U,...or UR INVESTIGATION IS STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW, BECAUSE NO HARD EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT,..
etc.
In con clusion,...if u follow JESUS,..u will be classified as one of the above conditions,...means U DONT GO TO JAIL/ U R NOT GUILTY/U WILL NOT BE PUNISHED.

WHY?,....because u dont break any law!!!!! or the court has no evidence to convict u.

3.SO,...TO BE NOT GUILTY,...u have to have the same MIND SET as THE JUDGE,..that is JESUS!!!(since the court follow single judge system,..not american withness system)

4.To have the same mind set as the JUDGE,...we have to follow as close as possible to JESUS LIFE,....since HIS LIFE is the WORD OF GOD THE FATHER.

5.IT IS QUITE DIFFICULT IN DEED,....its not enough u r christians,...memorizing the bible etc,...pray 100x aday...or go tochurch everyday,...but follow the PRINCIPLES OF OUR LORD LIFE,..such as:

-love ur enemy,..no revenge,...sacrifice for other....selfdenial,...faith in the time of depression,.....etc,

with these PRINCIPLES,...Ican see that by following Jesus way of life....we will,...be found not guilty,...even the perfect one maybe DONT GO TO COURT AT ALL,..because...NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO CONVICT!!!!!!

I hope these help u a bit,May God Bless u

You have several things jumbled together.

1. Jesus' blood washes away the sins ofa ll who ask.
2. All who have ever sinned, die.

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Yes, we are all judged upon death. The difference is that believers are judged for sins at the moment of salvation; so when they die, they are only judged for their "works."

Unbelievers, otoh, can only be judged for their works and since all human beings are sinners, they are judged guilty and condemned to Hell.

Peace.

It means you are born free of sin. If you mess it up after that you go to judgment and get tossed into the dumpster to rot forever. It's probably too late for you already so don't even worry about it. I don't. Matter of fact, I don't worry about anything. WMW?
