Killing is an act of violence and eating beyond the need to ensure survival is endulgence. So meat-eaters eat for endulgence.
Eatinf flesh and blood seems like a satanic ritual for me. Could it be that meat-eaters are deceived by the devil the same as Eve was, withouth knowing it?
I am not trying to offend anyone, please only serious answers.

Why would god make it so easy for them 2000 years ago, but not have the foresight to see that Future languages would find it difficult to interpret his words? Hadn't he heard of Lost in Translation?

If he was all knowing why didn't he right it in some future language that would be crystal clear to everyone who read it?

If the basis of all life , diseases etc is now believed to be the " genetic pool " . that there are inactive genes whose combination could not survive enviromental demands there by were not lost but are still part of the genetic pool . it is then possible given the right conditions to activate these genes to produce a different product from the current product( animals/humans etc

Who factored in the time concept to validate evolution ? Does the discovery of inert genetic pool where possible combination are possible with the right activation agents not overtaken this thinking.

My neighbor practices voodoo, and when my dog pooped on her lawn, she pointed at me and mumbled something strange. Ever since then, I've felt cold all the time and there's this smell coming from my crotch that I can't get rid of.

If a woman has an abortion, one of the first things you will hear is "Thou shalt not kill." But doesn't also say in the Bible "Judge not, lest you be judged." How can some people pick certain things out of the Bible that is befitting to them, but not other things?*

*This is just a question I have. I just want to know people's viewpoints. If at all possible (and I would hope it is), please be respectful with your answers.

Remember, Isaac (at 40) married Rebekah (the mother of Jacob and Esau), when she was three.

"According to the Midrash, Rebeccah was 3 years old when Abraham sent his loyal servant Eliezer to his family's homeland in Aram-Naharayim to find a wife for Isaac."

How Many wives did Solomon have?, Avraham, Jacob, David, Moses or AH-MOSES, joseph ...etc (May ALLAH Exalt Their Mention)?.

Because Kim Jong Il is like all we hear about these past days, and I just wanted to know if the end of the world is near. Will his Nuclear bombs and missiles annihilate us?

I feel that God is calling me to be a minister, but I am so handsome that I'm afraid my looks will only stir up lust and desire in the female members. Their focus needs to be on God, not my hunkiness. What should I do?

Ok I can understand if someone did not meet the qualifications for heaven he should not receive a reward. I can understand that once someone is dead that free will no longer exists so there is no possibility for growth. I can understand that.

What I can’t understand is the concept that there are only two alternatives, eternal bliss and eternal suffering.

Lets say you take a child molester as evil as his actions are how can they justify eternal suffering, remember how long eternity is. If such a person dose not deserve for whatever reason reward then would it not make sense to only punish him to the degree of his crime and then have him cease to exist. I just don’t see how the concept of eternal suffering and a benevolent creator can go hand in hand.

Mystics teach us that God is encountered only in the inner silence, but we seem to be very good at filling silent moments with lots of other "stuff". Interested how you feel about this? I know some folks who cannot stand for things to be quiet; they even sleep with a tv at full volume. I know others, like me, who feel completely overwhelmed when there is just too much varying noise and activity. If I cannot encounter silence to recharge, my brain goes into overload.

This is why Muslims wear beards like Muhammad and wipe like Muhammad, because the Quran claims that all of Muhammad's conduct is the perfect standard of human behavior...FOR ALL TIME!

This MUST MEAN, that it is PERFECT ISLAMIC CONDUCT, for a 53 year old man to marry a 9 year old:

“the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he CONSUMMATED HIS MARRIAGE when she was NINE YEARS OLD” http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/062.sbt.html#007.062.064

This MUST MEAN that owning black slaves is PERFECT ISLAMIC CONDUCT:
"Allah's Apostle was on a journey and he had a BLACK SLAVE called Anjasha, and he was driving the camels" http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/073.sbt.html#008.073.182

Of course it also means murder and warlording are perfect conduct:

“It is not for any PROPHET TO HAVE CAPTIVES UNTIL HE HATH MADE SLAUGHTER IN THE LAND.http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/008.qmt.html

What horror did Muhammad not committ? Seriously...anyone...

Let me just say that I am not and never was a religious person, and I consider myself agnostic.

When I was 15 (10 years ago), my 3 friends and I got approached by someone we didn't know in a parking lot. The person invited us to a revival down the street and we went to see what the hype was about.

So we get there and the preacher guy puts us up at the front of the stage and puts his hand on each of our forehead's and says the following:

Friend 1: You will be very involved in your chuch (10 years later she is the lead singer at her church)
Friend 2: Your mother is sick, she will beat it (she had cancer and survived)
Friend 3: Your brother will get a job soon (he got one that next week)
Me: He just smiles and says nothing!!!

What the heck? Where was my reading? And how do you explain how he knew these things when I didn't even know them about my own friends? We didn't know anyone there, it was so akward!

I swear this happened, it was the craziest thing I have witnessed

(5:58:236)
al-Zubayr reports:
"... he married 'Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consummated that

marriage when she was nine years old."

“(Muhammad) EVIL omen is ONLY in three: a horse, a WOMAN and a house."” http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/071.sbt.html#007.071.666

The Bukari is accepted by 99.99% of the Islamic world. In fact, this is where Muslims get their detailed instruction on how to behave...the Quran doesnt give it, but this Bukari (part of the Sunnah) does.

OK...CONSIDER THE ABOVE PASSAGE.

There is evil omen in three things. Notice the ORDER. FIRST the horse, SECOND the woman, and THIRD the house. These were the three most important properties of a Muslim man.

The Bukari lists these property in order of importance, unless you wish to assume God is careless and didnt think of the implications of this order in the Bukari.

The horse was most important property because the horse was a critical means of travel. As in the early American West, a stolen horse could lead to death, so death was the punishment for horse theives.

At least woman second on the property list.
