Ok I can understand if someone did not meet the qualifications for heaven he should not receive a reward. I can understand that once someone is dead that free will no longer exists so there is no possibility for growth. I can understand that.

What I can’t understand is the concept that there are only two alternatives, eternal bliss and eternal suffering.

Lets say you take a child molester as evil as his actions are how can they justify eternal suffering, remember how long eternity is. If such a person dose not deserve for whatever reason reward then would it not make sense to only punish him to the degree of his crime and then have him cease to exist. I just don’t see how the concept of eternal suffering and a benevolent creator can go hand in hand.

you don't understand the bible
its irrelevant as to what sin you commit
its weather you accept or reject
if you accept you go to heaven
if you reject you go to hell
has nothing to do with being judged
if the christian god was just and righteous everybody would be in hell
but he's not

Rationally it is the construct of irrational minds. Ones of who put a great importance on life. Not for life it self, for life is a miracle, but those types do not see life as a true miracle only a means to an end. You must suffer through life as they do through their own fear and closed mind. Those who scoff at the ones who have strength of spirit, zest for life and the strength of will to match. These qualities are like sins to those who profess to be the God fearing people. Those that walk softly because they think the great one can hear them, these types hate the strong of spirit to which needs no other strength but their own; so they condemn them in their minds to suffer for this strength. To which example most think that if you are not of or with their God then you are against, but how close are they truly to what they hate, Satan him self loves God, love him so much that he became vain, we who do not believe do not share this quality that Satan and Christians do, for how can you love a thing that does not exist to you.

well this really comes down to what you believe is the criteria for you going to heaven or hell. personally i believe that it is faith, not deeds that save you. so you may be a child molester but as long as you accept that you messed up, ask forgiveness, and truely believe in god and jesus as your savior then it is still possible to go to heaven. not to say that you can just go do whatever you want over and over again, but god knows that we are sinful people and he accepts us.

bottom line, if we were judged based on acts and good deeds versus sins we would all be going to hell (all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god). and according to the bible we would still need absolutely 0% sin, not just 49% or less sin, to go to heaven based on works. only jesus did that and he is the only one that will ever do that

You can do yourself a service by adjusting or changing your beliefs to one that is simple and offers no anxiety. Christianity will drive one crazy! For most Christians, their hell is life on earth!

They can't.

If hell exists as eternal punishment, god is not omnibenevolent.

He would be a megalomaniacal dictator.
