If someone is a born again Christian, or Jew, or any religion, is it right for them to tell me I shouldn't be doing what they were doing at my age, because it's morally wrong, or against the laws of God?

Out of my last two, as some people saw it, asinine questions, there was in fact a point to there existence, I find it horrible and downright stupid that many atheists and "biblical scholars" continue to take the bible out of context. The bible is not always literal. One must take into consideration the language of the time and the metaphors. While both Atheists and religious alike are guilty of this, I am more appalled at the religious, they should sincerely know better than to do this. The purpose of these questions was to prove that one MUST consider the time in which these statements were made in order to understand there context.

what do you think about muslims who are allowed to lie to infidels, and their invasion of America and Europe? they come to our countries, tell us how we should live, and then make 10 kids each. when the Pope says that muslims are violent, then they riot and burn churches and threaten to kill him. they prove over and over again to be followers of a violent religion, and they try to impose sharia law while having 10 kids. what do you think about this?

It's not offensive to say that it is. It's simply just how you live. Isn't that a religion? What's so bad about saying that atheism is a religion?

One of the primary objections atheists give for being atheists is that organized religion is bad. If one constructed an argument for this reasoning, it may look like this:

1.) If God is good, then religion would be good.
2.) Organized religion is bad, therefore God is not good.
3.) Therefore completly good (omnibenevolent) God does not exist.

My question is not so much concerning the argument, but the connection between religion and God. Religion by definition is man's attempt to reach God. An etymological approach suggest "re" which means "to do again" and "ligio" which means "to link", from which we derive the word ligament. If religion is indeed man's attempt to reach God, then is it fair to reason that bad religion makes God bad? What seems more logical is that bad organized religion would imply that man is bad, so the objection really isn't founded.

Muslims tends to - very ironically - demonstrate against being called terrorists and extremists by waving banners saying death to the West, 911 heroes etc all whilst wearing mock suicide bomb belts etc. Can you think of anything good about Islam? It's violent, treats women as second class citizens, underpins extremism, isolationism, classism and often terrorism all in the name of what? If I say anything bad about Mo-Ham-Head I will probably have a Fatwah put on me. Not exactly a peace preaching, loving, sharing and caring religion. Don't get me wrong, Christianity is no better, I just don't see many of them blowing kids up so they can sit at the right hand of Allah surrounded by young virgin boys drinking a s s milk.

Do only certain kinds of people (based on location, social/financial status) still practice?

I saw a French movie, that took place in Tangiers, and a huge sheep was sacrificed in conjuction with a buildign project. There was also mention of withcraft and characters participating in "superstitious" rituals.

I'm curious about how prevalent these practices are and if they are limited to specific countries/cultures? (I know the answer seems obvious, but I have to ask to get specific info)
Thanks.
