Why is Islam such a nasty, insidious religion that preaches bile and hatred?

Muslims tends to - very ironically - demonstrate against being called terrorists and extremists by waving banners saying death to the West, 911 heroes etc all whilst wearing mock suicide bomb belts etc. Can you think of anything good about Islam? It's violent, treats women as second class citizens, underpins extremism, isolationism, classism and often terrorism all in the name of what? If I say anything bad about Mo-Ham-Head I will probably have a Fatwah put on me. Not exactly a peace preaching, loving, sharing and caring religion. Don't get me wrong, Christianity is no better, I just don't see many of them blowing kids up so they can sit at the right hand of Allah surrounded by young virgin boys drinking a s s milk.

The car bombings and the 9/11 attacks that are happening and/or happened is not an example of the Islamic faith. It's an example of the acts of extremists and killers that are most likely disliked by more than 3/4 of the world's Muslims. Next time, I think it might be better if you did your research, rather then spouting off random things that you don't even know are true.

This is getting so old!

There is nothing wrong with Islam . It's messages are actaully quite sensible. It is the followers, or those who profess to be followers that have trouble with life skills.

People who live in extreemly hot countires tend to be hot headed, no matter what their religion. Have a look see what the Hindu's etc have been up to in recent history.

Some other religion's turn to be in the "hot seat" will come up soon enough. If you lived through the 50's , 60's and early seventies remember it was communism that was the bad guy. And don't forget our good friends the Bader Meinhof Gang, The Lettermen, IRA and so on.Not a Muslim amongst them.

Don't let the actions of a few dictate how you view all. After all do we really let our neighbours walk through our houses and help themselves to the fridge, our clothes etc. Or live our lives as sordididly as CSI would have us believe?

Well I don't, but if you watch TV you would beleive that we all do. They(Muslims), like us, are to a great extent victims of the media. Bad news sells and having a swarthy but romantic looking bad guy when you live in Europe is an added plus!

This is very boring,and all it does is stir up anger in people,its NOT the religion that causes the problems but the extremists so don't blame people who support a particular religion.
