If that's the case then. If I'm in a horrible car accident and I am definitely going to die (and this is in Gods plan for me). What good would praying do? Are you going to change Gods mind? IF you do, and I survive, wouldn't that alter everyone elses destiny since I wasn't supposed to factor into it?

I've seen asians, indians would actually listen to an explanation and form an informed opinion but christians get a myopic view and just keep on an on about their scriptures and verses without actually addressing the problems. What is this affliction? They act so stupid for eg, "I don't understand how you believe in god, when you don't believe in jesus".

"energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can only be changed from one form to the other "Now some scientist and knowledgeable people from this site tried to tell me that all elements were created from the energy then the stars resulted in 91 known elements . They are sure hydrogen and helium origins but they are only composed of hydrogen and oxygen elements . what of the other 89 known elements .who created the stars that contained these other elements in them . What caused the first spark that ignited the first big bang . For something to be present it must come from somewhere , where is my question ?

This spring supposedly has the power to heal the faithful, and the church + medical community investigate all healing claims. The spring receives an estimated 80,000 visitors a year seeking to be cured.

Within the last 100 years or so, the church, scientists, and doctors have validated 69 cures as miracles...meaning the cure was sudden, and doctors believe it to be a medical impossibility.

Do you view this as:

a) 69 miracles that science could not debunk - Clearly this is evidence of God's healing power.

b) only 69 out of how many millions? Clearly this is evidence against God's healing power.

c) No relavence either way.

Why do they always state the same pseudo-science, nonsensical arguments against evolution? I am sure that most evolutionist and most atheist have read most of the Bible or at the very least are very familiar with it, yet creationist seem to believe that they can make a rational argument without doing any real research about evolutionary science.
This is apparent in such statements as:
We descended from monkeys or apes
Why don't we have a tail?
Why are their still apes?
How about the eye?
It goes on and on. The answers are there if you took the time to find out.
Or are you so close minded that you can say "God did it" and leave it at that?

it may cause promiscuity. So in their eyes they think it is more important to try and make girls not have sex, then it is to prevent cancer? How backwards is that, and they have no proof that this would cause promiscuity, they are completely talking out of their behinds, how many of you actually think like this, and if you do, please explain your reasoning to me.

A vaccine to help prevent a certain type of cancer will make girls promiscuous, sounds far fetched and completely stupid.

is this simply another form of the war on girls?

Some people think three, seven and ten are special because of their occurrences in the Bible. I would like to know about two because I have just moved to a new area. My apartment number is two, the room where I work is two, my telephone number adds up to two and I live with my brother in a two bedroom apartment. Jesus sent His disciples out by two; and Jesus and me make two. What else is two known for? Previously, I thought 3,7 and 9 were my numbers but the appearance of two this year has proven to be more than a coincidence.

I have been in christian school my entire life. I believe God died for me and has blessed me with so much. But I don't feel like I'm on fire for Him. I don't have that passion and desire for Him. Everyone says that when you are saved that He changes your life. I don't feel that that has happened to me. I don't want to be a luke-warm Christian. I question if I really am saved, I screw up so much. I'm scared that if I died, I'd go to hell. I want an ongoing relationship with God..Help!
