Veritas = Truth
Aequitas = Justice
Which is likely a reference to the (awesome!) movie "Boondock Saints".

Veritas means truth and Aquinas probably refers to St. Thomas Aquinas. I think it's referring to his proofs that God exists. Even though they have long been shown to be false, some people still believe them.

Aquinas Truth referring to the truth and great theology of St. Thomas Aquinas. and it's not Aquinas is true because that would be Aquinas Verit Est.

they are refuring to the truth of the catholic faith and the theology/ philosophy of ST. Thomas Aquinas. one of the greatest of all philosophers.
