I hear the argument that abortion is better than a kid born to horrible parents. I was abused and neglected as a child. My step-dad was a monster. But with the help of Christ, I have grown into a fully functional adult with a wonderful family and too many blessing to count. SERIOUSLY you are saying I should have been killed as a fetus without that chance?

Yeah, you can be a smart*ss and tell me, yes, I'd be better off dead because you don't know me, you can't see me. Think about the people you care for. Chances are many of them came from variuos forms of disfunctional families. Would they really be better off to have never existed? What about killed on the delivery table?

Can you Imagine By faith, every sin gone, every mistake gone, every failure gone, depression gone, Low self esteem gone, becasue God Wiped it away. I read it over and over again: Christians claiming that gays are an abomination because their lifestyle is contrary to God's will. The problem I find with these statments is that, sure, it's listed in the Bible as a sin right along with hundreds of other sins. Why choose to make such a big deal out of this one. It's listed in a similar area of scripture that implies eating pork is a sin. Why not boycott and persecute pork eaters?

My other problem with it: Jesus never said to hate or declare any other person as an abomination. He said to love people despite how they live because all of our lives are abominations to God before and after finding salvation. We're all sinners. What makes gays and lesbians "worse" sinners than us? Sin isn't judged on a scale, at least not one I can find in any Bible. So, whose morals are you really defending? Are you sure they're not your own?

Why do you feel so threatened by the theory of evolution? What do you intend to gain from trying to prove that creationism is true and evolution is false. Its not like its going to help you become better Christians (or whatever religion which adheres to creationism) or convert people.

Personally I believe that evolution does not prove that God does'nt exist... it only proves that the Bible (or whatever holy book which spouts creationism) is NOT a science textbook.

I'm sure lots of people who answer these questions will have fun with this, but I BELIEVE and KNOW that I have heard the voice of God---I was in a really bad emotional state (relationship induced) and God told me that I just needed to wait, and everything would be fine -those aren't the exact words, but basically gives you the picture-anyway, it's been a while and I know I'm short on patience, but what if it really wasn't God, what if it was the devil playing tricks on me?
