Both. It goes against God because God is the creater of all things and scientists are now playing God. It goes against nature because cloning is not a natural process by which things are born or created.

While cloning has not yet been done successfully in the long run, I believe that it is neither against God, a god, or nature. For we are human beings created with abilities which include cloning among others.

God created Nature so it is against God! God is the creator of all life! To clone a human is walking on a very dangerous line, because humans are trying to be as powerful as God, they are playing God. I believe we are more than just a physical body, we have a spiritual make-up aswell. It scares me to think of bodies being made to come alive yet they will have no souls. I think we might be in over our heads on this one.

i dont think is against anybody to clone yourself, but since you dont know the whole process and how it works to produce a copy, you could be producin a lesser quality being, messing up this creatures life with who knows what kind of defects.

so unless you have all the tools necessary and meet all the environmental conditions to make your clone plus the know-how, please dont attempt to do so.

Think of it this way... you wouldn't know if you weren't meant to know.

As for nature, I'm not sure. I don't think it's so much against nature as it is not a good idea. Human beings don't understand enough not to massively screw it up. It's a dangerous thing to play with.

Nope. Your clone would be your identical twin sister, delayed. Why does God allow identical twins?

Yes, I believe that it is. God created humans to reproduce sexually not asexually like plants and bacteria.

Since there is no god, you are safe there. Against nature, maybe.
