Would you rather believe in the Christian god and then get tortured in the Muslim hell for all eternity? There are an infinite number of possible gods that could be waiting for you to die so they can roast you for ever in their particular version of hell. If you really, honestly believed that a god could exist then you ought to live in terror of having chosen the wrong one - How can you possibly guess right when you have an infinity of alternatives?

Atheists have no such problem because we know that all gods are imaginary, so there's absolutely nothing to worry about.

If it is actual, then why did the two Peter and Paul defer to James, the Lord's a million/2-brother, contained in the situation of Gentile converts following the Mosaic Code? (See Acts 15 and Galatians) it truly is obvious, the two from the Bible, and from exterior materials, tremendously Flavius Josephus, that the seat of the Church develop into in Jerusalem, no longer Rome, up until eventually the time of James martyrdom by potential of the clergymen. Matthew sixteen:18 (KJV) Thou artwork Peter ( G4074 ??????? Petros puppy'-ros curiously a customary observe; a (piece of) rock (greater than G3037); as a attractiveness, Petrus, an apostle: - Peter, rock.) and upon this rock ( G4073 ?????? petra puppy'-ra female of the comparable as G4074; a (mass of) rock (actually or figuratively): - rock.) i'll construct my Church, and the gates of Hell shall no longer be triumphant against it. observe the version? the only is masculine, the different female. The rock His Church is outfitted upon is the occupation that he's the Christ, the Son of the residing God. ultimately, if Peter have been the undisputed head of the Church, why could Paul call him an hypocrite to his face while the circumstances warranted it. I recommend no disrespect to Peter, yet you're making too plenty soup from one bone.

I am sorry but people that use these tactics only assure that they are turning more people away from religion.
I was raised in a catholic convent school and that was enough to turn me off of religion forever. All religions are contrived from various stories told and written by human beings. All the scriptures have been contorted over the years. I find that the bible is one of the most violent writings anywhere. It is filled with heinous acts that are barbaric. I have no reason to believe anything in the bible. Sorry, but no I don't want to be saved. I live a good life and am helpful to others if they need help. I don't do bad things and consider myself a decent and law abiding individual.
Religious fanatics are people that are lacking something and desperately need to believe in something as usually they are not content with just believing in themselves. They are brain washed and cannot think for themselves. They are not seeing how truly ridiculous religion actually is. Just my opinion. No offense intended at anyone.

No. because, frankly your religion is violent, contradictory, ludacris and completely illogical. I'd have to drug myself to suppress my thought process to believe what you believe.

The fact that so many try this fear tactic is petty and rude. Go back and acually read your bible cover to cover. One summer, I actually read the Bible cover to cover. That's why I am no longer a CHristian. I'm not an Atheist. I always fully believed that it would be arrogant to assume that we are the most intelligent things in the Universe. But the Christian God concept doesn't work for me. 8 years ago I found Wicca, its non dogmatic, and their diety concept is much easier to grasp because its not overly simplistic like the Judeo Christian one.

So if you want to be Christain, that's fine, but don't be fear mongering in this direction. YOu won't get much support.

No! I'd definitely rather go to hell, AND have a happy life on earth, which is the only one we'll have.

Besides, IF there were a hell and a heaven, I WANT to go to hell. Heaven will be full with sanctimonious people who've been nagging me during my life. I wouldn't want them in eternity, too...

What you have just done is posed a terroristic question - wouldnt I rather beleive than burn in hell? Do you really think that is going to draw me towards your silly beliefs???

You ask something that is incorrect - Hell doesnt exist, except for you and others that actually believe that crap. How can I die and go to a mythical place that doesnt exist??? Of course Im not going to live a lie in order to avoid a mythical land of the dead.

I applaud your effort but threatening this way is not a proper witnessing tool friend. If you cannot lovingly reach another person with the truth you will push them away. Some people you may never reach, just add them to the prayer list and move on.

Matthew 10:13-15 (King James Version)
13And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Stop trying to push your religion on people! No I would NOT want to believe in god and be saved so I don't go to hell! I do NOT believe in hell so therefor I can't go to a place that don't exist. Don't worry about what I do with my life!

Umm.. Pascal's Wager has been dead for a long time. Following your argument, you should be bowing and praying to every God ever created, including Allah, Yaweh, Zeus, and the Norse Gods...

Are you truly only a believer out of fear?
