all in the same bed. what shall i do?

Please, tell me how you would convince someone with no concept of any religion that your particular religion is the one they should choose.

What would you say to this person?

In your own words please, that's far more convincing than scripture.

Thank you.

Which is correct?
On the one hand, christians complain that original sin does seem fair. "We are responsible for something people did centuries ago?"

On the other hand, christians seem to hold no responsebility for the Crusades, torture of nonchritians, etc, which occured centuries ago.

Which point of view is right and which is wrong?

And on that note - if you think you're right, is it important for you to force your beliefs on others or to destroy the non-believers if they refuse to believe as you do?

i was reading something online about it. i'm just curious as to how you'd know which is natural, versus which is learned. both study to improve upon skills..

i ask because i've always had odd little things happening to me. if i want something to happen bad enough, it usually does. there have been a lot of times where i've seen things before they've happened. i can also tell how people are feeling and sometimes what they're thinking though not as much.

just curious though so please don't be rude.

Jesus said: I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE no one comes to the Father but through me.

These are the words of eternal life!

Abraham was promised posession of the land. He died, never having any of it. Common christianity would say abraham is in heaven, if you belive this then when will abraham be given this land?

Gen. 15:18-21 "…unto thy seed (Abraham) have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates".

And if you thought about telling me the old testament is unreliable, how about this?

Heb 11:13. These (incl. abraham) all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Doesnt pilgrims mean they understoond they were only only on the earth for a short while? if they embrased the promises they must have expected to be raised to life and give the land?

If you are an atheist and don't believe in a higher power that's fine, however do you base your discontent towards religion on the people around it and that preach it or the religion itself? This begs a serious question for non-believers, are you simply denouncing religion based on the way people live it or are you just denouncing the thought of God and religion all together? I hear a lot of people say that religious people are hypocrites, yet why are you letting them dictate your own views on religion? Shouldn't you be more concerned about the more important message, God? If that is true why don't you show us the correct way instead of just denouncing it based on the errors of others?

How many of you have read the Malleus Maleficarum? If you haven't, you definately should. It is the book that was used by the Inquisition to oppress and subjugate your long ago predecessors. It is (no joke) one of the most disturbing books I have ever read, and I read alot.

If you have read it, what did you find most disturbing about it?
