I am christian and I did it while I was christian so I don't hate it per say. And it is not the christians who want it illegal it is the mob who controls the money. If it was legal the money would go to the gov't. But, the gov't would probably end up supporting a bunch of dead beats cause eventually pot takes away the desire to work or sustain oneself when it has had its final work in a person. I know, cause I went down that road with pot for nearly 20 yrs and am only now beginning to get ahead since I quit 16 yrs ago.

Actually, it was outlawed due to lobbying by the alcohol and cotton industries in the 1930s; the official law that outlawed weed is called the "Marijuana Tax Act."
I think it's both hilarious and sad that people think marijuana is more harmful than alcohol, when actually the exact opposite is true.

What in the world does pot have to do with being christian? As a christian, I say I don't care one way or another. It's apparently good for glaucoma and some cancers, and I think drunk drivers are a lot bigger problem in this world than overly cautious pot heads at the wheel, so maybe we should vote on which one to outlaw?

Only legislation has made Mari J illegal. I personally think that's wrong but rules are rules and I don't want to go to jail. I don't use Mari J but if I wanted to, I don't think it's right that other people have decided that's illegal but it's ok to smoke a cig. or it's ok to consume a certain amount of alcohol.

I hate the devil behind the things that cause us to turn our hearts and affections away from God.
God has given the Holy Spirit to those that love Him.....I don't need any to be happy

I am a faithful Christian and I smoked pot for 10 years. I don't believe it is bad, but it, like all things should be done in moderation and we are weak and susceptible to things that change are chemistry and these things can cause problems in life obviously so unless you like problems don't do it. Simple Huh!

Marijuana is a drug that is not good for the body. So not only Christians hate marijuana, most of the religion do.

It'll become your God and eat up your brain, whether you want it to or not - then you'll get hooked in with people who do other, more dangerous drugs - maybe you'll get shot by one of them- I used to do volunteer work at a homeless shelter, i saw people die young (50s) almost every other week
