Well, I don't think a church will give you sanctuary for such a misdeed, so the next best thing is to appease the evil you are now faced with.
Jewelry store. Find one.
Pearl necklace. Buy one.
Wrapping. Invest in a very feminine wrapping paper to wrap the gift.
Card. Get a blank one. Insert one of your wedding pictures. Add the words (in your own handwriting), "I love you."
Dinner. Her choice, on you.
Presentation. On your knees in front of God and everyone, holding the gift to her.
Sex. Don't push your luck. Be thankful that the pearls will get you back into the house.

Church sanctuary is nothing to an enraged wife. Run, run, run. Sending flowers and a huge apology from your temporary residence might help.

better head for a place where She can't find you. hiding in a Church is only temporary as you'll need to go home sooner or later to face the music. may I suggest candy and flowers along with a humble apology and saying " yes dear " to her honey - do list of chores until her temper cools off.

They try, but unless you're so very special they will let you use the secret escape ways, the question is more about whether your wife will thespect the sanctuary.

Maybe somewhere. I don't know if there are shelters for men who innocently say stupid stuff. Bring her roses and chocolate and jewlery and next time you should tell someone that she is 20. Oh and cook dinner for her. You are totally going to have to grovel. I bet you won't do that again
