I have looked into the void
Faced my foolish fears.
Accepted what must be.
Thrown away selfish tears.
Life is sweet and precious.
Beautiful, wonderous and true.
All is as it should be.
God will see me through.
There is nothing I fear now.
Nothing I cannot face.
I know the Path I travel.
I have been given His Grace.
Peace is mine this moment.
Eternity is within my reach.
But I have much still to do here.
Life has more to teach.

It seems to me the greatest cause for insecurity is low self-esteem, tho' survivors of trauma may also suffer from a sense of insecurity.

The symptoms seem to fall into two categories: a feeling of inadequacy and/or a need to lash out at others.

How does your faith deal with people suffering from these problems?
