Do you hate everyone or only people who believe in God? Now you're being given the opportunity to say as you will, so no BS excuses about anyone shoving their religion down your throat!! Have you ever loved life, people, God? Do you know at what point in your life you began to hate? No kidding, I'm really curious. I'm trying to understand you, so don't go blowing it with EXCUSES. OK?

If others believe in their use why do they not provide them? How is it our responsibility to go against our beliefs?
For the record I do not believe in promiscuity or artificial birthcontrol but I do not attempt nor believe in passing laws to make these illegal.

...for THEIR healing. Even though one of the men said he forgave the killer, and invited the family of the killer to the community, everyone needs to pray for healing for both parties involved. Pray for the family of the killer. EVERYONE is tender in God's eyes!

Why do religious people become offended when the existence of god is brought into question? Isn’t a world without religion better?
No 9/11, no witch hunts, no persecution of the Jews, no Taliban, no crusades, no serb/croat/muslim massacres, no “troubles” in Northern Ireland

I'm curious as to what purpose you think god has given us. If you say that the atheist viewpoint makes life pointless, then what meaning does god give it? What goal are we all supposed to be reaching for as human beings, not individuals?

I really miss the faith healers like Earnest Angely and Jerry Fallwell... are they still around? They were great entertainment and always brought a smile to my face. I also miss all the scandals like embezzelment and sleeping with hookers!

First of all, what are your beliefs, and what is it about that ideology that is believable to you? If you are an atheist, why do you not believe in a supreme being? If you do believe in God, why do you accept the idea that there is a God? And if you are anything else, why does that belief system make the most sense to you?

Also, I would like to ask atheists something else: How do you believe the universe first came into existence without something "helping it along?" By this, I mean how do you believe that first matter came about--the "material" that started it all? Now, I'm not asking this to be like those nutty zealots who ask goofy questions like "If we came from apes, why do we still have apes?" I'm just asking this because I want to get in-depth ideas from all sides.

One final note to all: A quote(s) from your religious text (be it the Koran, Bible, or whatever) is not acceptable. I want to hear this in your own words.

Does anyone know any verses from the Bible which talk about the concept of talking about politics during church? Or, does anyone know any principles I should look up to help me narrow my search?

Supposably Mohammid is quoting God here...

[17.111] And say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son and Who has not a partner in the kingdom, and Who has not a helper to save Him from disgrace; and proclaim His greatness magnifying (Him).

OK, so Mohammid uses that to make it seem like God does everything by himself, so that he could debunk Jesus's divine nature and replace Jesus with the role of a simple prophet...

[2.3] Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them.

[2.34] And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam they did obeisance, but Iblis (did it not). He refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers.

[2.35] And We said: O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the garden and eat from it a plenteous (food) wherever you wish and do not approach this tree, for then you will be of the unjust.

It sure looks like God had partners from what Mohammid is saying. Justify this contradiction

What are some of the very nice, very interesting things you would do if you had a trillion trillion dollars to spend?

I am putting this under religion/spirituality because it may be the dream of a religious or spiritual person to have enough money to do some nice things in the world.

Sperm average 3 micrometers across their widest point, HIV and Herpes Viruses average 0.1 micrometers across. So how can you call sex with condoms safe? And that's not even counting breakage? Isn't abstinence and fidelity safer?
