I had no choice in the matter when I was a baby... I'd like to get it UN-done, is that possible?

since you are answering? I am really tired of seeing that as an answer from people that I am assuming can offer no real answer to the question they are posting on. Does anyone else wonder about this, or should I just "get a life"?

The Bible says this in Mark 16:16 [Jesus said] "Whoever believes AND is baptized will be saved ..."

Does your church teach you that Baptism IS or IS NOT necessary for salvation? Please indicate the "type" of Christian you are.

NOTE: Please don't clutter up the answer section with long explanations. This is a survey question.. not a debate question.

MY ANSWER: I am Catholic and the Catholic Church teaches that Baptism IS necessary for salvation.

Moby Dick predicted the assination of John Kennedy.

http://cs.anu.edu.au/~bdm/dilugim/moby.html

This was done in advance, and it did turn out to be true. No one could have imagined that. What are the odds?

Is Moby Dick the word of God? It predicted the future!?! What are the odds?

Or is Moby Dick just a work of fiction, written by a person.

By Christian perspective, I mean a non-dispensationalist world view based on Christian "essentials" and Biblical hermeneutics. I am looking for periodicals that deal with history, science, archealogy, politics, and present day events around the world. Thanks!

I predict that there will be some snow storms, and some hurricanes next summer. God told me.

If you have faith in the same God as I do, then you will believe me that I talked to God because of the power of my prophesies.

Is that ok and rational? Does that bother anyone?

Interesting, just a hypothetical, the God I talked to wants me to make it a rule that you can't eat spinach. Spinach to my God is an abomination. I am going to convert people to my religion and try and ban spinach.

Now what do you think of my religious believe? Kinda kooky maybe?

Now what if I said my God doesn't want people over 29 to get married and we need to make the definition of marriage fit in with what my God is saying.

Now what do you think about that idea, should my religious believes be used to define marriage in America? And don't forget, I am predicting snow and hurricanes, so you know God did talk to me.

I am aware that Judaism accepts converts, but do not understand matrilineal descent. It doesn't make sense to me that the child of a Jewish man and a Catholic woman is not Jewish, but the child of a Jewish woman and a Catholic man is Jewish.

This man has been lying to people for over a decade. He calls himself a prophet of God that he's not. I am sick and tired of this guy putting a bad name to the christianity. He always have the same dream for everyone in his mailing lists. He lies to them to take their money.
I think it's time for us christians to take a stand against false prophets in America.
