By Christian perspective, I mean a non-dispensationalist world view based on Christian "essentials" and Biblical hermeneutics. I am looking for periodicals that deal with history, science, archealogy, politics, and present day events around the world. Thanks!

The Awake! and Watchtower magazines are superlative Christian articles. The Awake! journal is published for the enlightenment of the entire family. It shows how to cope with today's problems. It reports on the news, tells about people in many lands, examines religion and science. But is does more. It probes beneath the surface and points to the real meaning behind current events, yet it always stays politically neutral and does not exalt one race above another. Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world that is about to replace the present wicked, lawless system of things.

The Awake! periodical is published monthly in more than 80 languages around the world and has a circulation of more than 30,000,000. The Watchtower journal is published semi-monthly in more than 153 languages around the world. The purpose of The Watchtower is to keep watch on world events as these fulfilll Bible prophecy. It comforts all peoples with the good news that God's Kingdom will soon destroy those who oppress their fellowmen and that it will turn the earth into a paradise. It encourages faith in God's now-reigning King, Jesus Christ, whose shed blood opens the way for mankind to gain eternal life. The Watchtower is nonpolitical. It adheres to the Bible as its authority.

Both The Awake! and Watchtower magazines are published by Jehovah's Witnesses. You can obtain copies of these journals by contacting the local Kingdom Hall. Or visit http://www.watchtower.org

The worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses is supported by voluntary donations.

That is a wide range. May I suggest World Magazine. The next closest standard is Christianity Today.

A piece of advice : Do not turn to "christian" perspectives in the news and other topics, although the oppinions are from religious people, they still are fallible.
I suggest you come up with your own answers while reading secular topics. Gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding and you will not have to look for "christian" periodicals.
Peace.

"WORLD" news magazine is an excellent source of world news/events from a Christian perspective. .
"BIBLICAL ARCHEOLOGY REVIEW" is also excellent for science and archeological digs, particularly in the Middle East.

Wow, so you are asking for your news to be delivered to you censored by Christians so they can better brainwash you? Wow. I especially get a kick how you want them to tell you how to view science and politics!

Other answers to your question seem to ridicule your desire to seek out a magazine.
I will asssume all you want to do is read, analyze, ponder and MAYBE accept what is written.
That's good.
Those people come to my door offering something called 'Watchtower'.
The other one with it is quite good.
