Very old and very happy!

Dying in a blaze of glory seems pretty fleeting. Leaving a legacy that someone might remember for a few decades seems more meaningful. Either way, we won't be remembered for long. Better to enjoy every day and experience you can squeeze in.

The option to die young has gone, but if I had the chance, I'd refuse it.
What's the point of going early, when the wonderful experiences I continue to enjoy are still ocurring.
I'm 62 and tell all my friends I'm only half-way through my life.
My great-great-grandfather was 107.

Good question. As midlife person, I've had the opportunity to review my life, and I prefer old and happy.
I catch the best fish, the best girl or the situation that give the tranquility enough to sleep every night without abruptly awake.
And believe me, do the things that you have to do, just do it, with justice.

Well, since I am already 54, I want to live another 54 years and die a very old man, in my sleep peacefully beside my loving wife.
