Truth is self-evident.
God has no religion, why would He?

One day a drunk guy burned down his neighbors house, then claimed "God" did it because they were sinful.

There, I proved it.

What? That isn't proof. Oh. Ok, I guess God wasn't made up by a manipulative sod. So I must have proven the opposite, that God is real, right?

Well, I am sorry you are angry... that sort of proves to me that there is inspired direction of the Holy Spirit within me. Otherwise I would have this overwhelming desire to strike back at you for being hateful. See, God does exist. He made me a better person. Not so long ago, I would have paid someone two hundred American dollars to shut you up. Is that proof enough?

That's not really the intelligent reply I would honestly attempt to give you, but then you didn't ask an intelligent question either... you attacked. My old nature would have taken it on. My new nature doesn't really care who chooses to believe and who doesn't. I read the entire Book. I know how it turns out... We win!!!!!!!!

The Christian "God" is really Jehovah, which is an anglicanization of the original name of God, Yahweh. Yahweh was the war god of the ancient Hebrews. In about 500 BCE, patriarchy got the best of the Hebrews, and accepted only the male God as divine, while throwing the female Goddess (Asherah) out the window.

I'm not Christian but find it offending that you use 'manipulative sod.'

Religion is based on belief and not always on things that you can prove.

If your not religious, then carry on the way you live your life without offending others. If you are interested in religion, approach your local religious centres for information

Obviously you're @ a point in your life where you are questioning your own convictions - why else would you be asking the followers of the very religion you are doubting for proof! If that is not the case then i, personally, would say to you that each and every persons' beliefs are just that - THEIRS - and no one has to prove anything. I'm not gonna start preachin, damning you to hell n all that as my beliefs don't exactly stretch that far either!!! Even so; each to their own n all that....

letem havit:

There's no need to call him a moron. I thought you christians were understanding. You need to be less insecure about your views.
No human knows anything about the universe and probably never will.

Terrform: That guy burned the house cos he's mentally cocoked up. God woulden't blow a house up.

Highlander just contradicted himself. Lol
No one can say god exists, you can only believe.

Christianity has nothing to do with proof, everything to do with faith. You obviously don't have it. Get on with your life without attacking those who do. At least behave in a (small 'c') christian way and allow others - atheists, agnostics, Jews, Hindus, Muslims etc to do the same.
