My mom works in a nursing home, and she told me of a woman there who was dying. The moments before the woman died she was screaming in agonizing pain, she said she was on fire, and she had a wildly scared look on her face. There was nothing to do to help this woman. And I was wondering if God allows people to feel hell before they die to give them one last chance to turn to him?

A recent article in Reuters said:

At a "Values Voters Summit" sponsored by leading religious conservative groups, some activists said President George W. Bush and Republican leaders showed too much pragmatism and too little concern for issues like abortion, immigration and banning gay marriage.

"There is no question people are frustrated with the Republican Party. The message it sends is: 'We don't care where you stand, we just want you to be a Republican,"' said Phil Burress, president of the Ohio-based Citizens for Community Values.

Who will you support? The other side? I think not. It may just be time for you to accept that no matter how hard you try, how much money you raise for the purpose, and how many politicians tell you they will fight for your cause, you cannot change the fact that America is a democratic republic, not a theocricy. The GOP used to be about small government, low taxes, and states/individual rights. Not gay marriage, abortion, immigration.

There is a miracles that, in Australia, there is a tree, the bottom half of the tree trunk is bowed in such a way that it resembles a person in posture of Islamic prayer - the 'Ruku, The most amazing thing is that the 'man' is directly facing the Holy Kaaba in Mecca, which is the direction of prayer.
So how did that happened?

I just posted two questions, both called "Do you agree with this?". Both questions contain obviously fallacious reasoning, but one concludes that God must exist, and the other concludes that God does not exist.

The interesting thing is that among the answers saying "you got the logic wrong" we find a rather interesting pattern. Nobody agreed with the "God does not exist" one, but some people did agree with the "God does exist" one. There were no emotional responses to the "God does exist" one but plenty of emotional responses to the "God does NOT exist" one.

This seems to indicate to me that there is a difference in the way believers and non-believers reach their conclusions.

Interesting, no?

Jesus is the Sun of God?
The history of the sun, is the history of Jesus Christ. The sun is born on the 25th of December, the birthday of Jesus Christ. The first and greatest of the labors of Jesus Christ is his victory over the serpent, the evil principle, or the devil. In his first labor Hercules strangled the serpent, as did Krishna, Bacchus, etc. his is the sun triumphing over the powers of hell and darkness; and, as he increases, he prevails, till he is crucified in the heavens, or is decussated in the form of a cross (according to Justin Martyr) when he passes the equator at the vernal equinox. (ibid, p. 200)
In reading the New Testament we must cease to think of the man Jesus, and even of the “Son of God”, and think of him
rather of the sun of god, for this is a solar myth, and its dying hero, a dying sun. (Lloyd Graham, Deceptions and Myths
of the Bible, p. 361)
“The divine teacher is called, is tested by the “adversary”, gathers disciples, heals the sick, preaches the Good News
about God’s kingdom, finally runs afoul of his bitter enemies, suffers, dies, and is resurrected after three days. This is the
total pattern of the sun god in all the ancient dramas”. (The Pagan Christ, p. 145)
When the Council of Nicea took place, the Emperor Constantine
- Declared the Roman Sun-day to be the Christian Sabbath
- Adopted the traditional birthday of the Sun-god, and the twenty-fifth of December, as the birthday of Jesus;
- Borrowed the emblem of the Sun-god, the cross of light, to be the emblem of Christianity;
- And, although the statue of Jesus replaced the idol of the Sun-god, decided to incorporate all the ceremonies which were performed at the Sub-gods birthday celebrations into their own ceremonies.

How can life not be inevitable if your future is already happening right now in another dimension of time? Time does not even exist to the gods? Or does it?

This is so confusing.

World population growth rate in recent times is about 2% per year. Practicable application of growth rate throughout human history would be about half that number. Wars, disease, famine, etc. have wiped out approximately one third of the population on average every 82 years. Starting with eight people, and applying these growth rates since the Flood of Noah's day (about 4500 years ago) would give a total human population at just under six billion people. However, application on an evolutionary time scale runs into major difficulties. Starting with one "couple" just 41,000 years ago would give us a total population of 2 x 1089. 9The universe does not have space to hold so many bodies.

Ok.. let me get this straight. The Word of God says we were created with Human bodies that are designed to live forever. Science has recently proven that if we were to learn something new every second, we would take well over 3 millions years to exhaust the memory capacity of our "post flood" brains. (Pre-flood brains were 3 times larger) On the other hand... Evolutionists say things evolve after there is
