Jesus is the Sun of God?
The history of the sun, is the history of Jesus Christ. The sun is born on the 25th of December, the birthday of Jesus Christ. The first and greatest of the labors of Jesus Christ is his victory over the serpent, the evil principle, or the devil. In his first labor Hercules strangled the serpent, as did Krishna, Bacchus, etc. his is the sun triumphing over the powers of hell and darkness; and, as he increases, he prevails, till he is crucified in the heavens, or is decussated in the form of a cross (according to Justin Martyr) when he passes the equator at the vernal equinox. (ibid, p. 200)
In reading the New Testament we must cease to think of the man Jesus, and even of the “Son of God”, and think of him
rather of the sun of god, for this is a solar myth, and its dying hero, a dying sun. (Lloyd Graham, Deceptions and Myths
of the Bible, p. 361)
“The divine teacher is called, is tested by the “adversary”, gathers disciples, heals the sick, preaches the Good News
about God’s kingdom, finally runs afoul of his bitter enemies, suffers, dies, and is resurrected after three days. This is the
total pattern of the sun god in all the ancient dramas”. (The Pagan Christ, p. 145)
When the Council of Nicea took place, the Emperor Constantine
- Declared the Roman Sun-day to be the Christian Sabbath
- Adopted the traditional birthday of the Sun-god, and the twenty-fifth of December, as the birthday of Jesus;
- Borrowed the emblem of the Sun-god, the cross of light, to be the emblem of Christianity;
- And, although the statue of Jesus replaced the idol of the Sun-god, decided to incorporate all the ceremonies which were performed at the Sub-gods birthday celebrations into their own ceremonies.

The Council of Nicea was to revamp a religion so it would be more acceptable-and more controlling------to the people.

It was another step in making up more on a made up religion.

Most of what you say is correct. True Christianity does not include Christmas, i mean God condemned the nicolatians, and they are those which follow saint nicolas who flies through the sky giving gifts.

These counterfeit systems were made by the devil, he does nothing new, he doesn't try to make himself a unique religion, he copies the true God.

Christianity has no emblem, read the second commandment friend. Jesus was crucified on a cross as was the pagan way of putting somebody to death at that time, delt by the Romans.

Just so you know, the Bible predicted many things which you say, if you would like i could give you Bible study via email; c0d14@hotmail.com God bless!!

What are you doing.
Just because you can logically show that Jesus
and Christianity is myth, that does not mean you should do so. Shame on you. The council was attempting to codify myth and make it real under pain of death for those that say differently. Folk are not going to like that for sure.Sun/son, Lived/devil, Profits/prophets,
Live/evil, Santa/satan...

The Sun of God is more important to our survival than any son of God.

so many nutty theories cobbled together from practitioners of the occult and kabbalah. Dec 25 is only symbolic to replace the pagan winter solstice celebration. The council of Nicea came together to define the creed, and declare it against heretics threatening the church 200-300 years after Christ. Ever wonder why it took 300 years for this council to feel that Christianity ws threatened and why they didn't get together earlier(when ther was no threat to the beliefs from Gnostics who came much later and claimed to be Christians ?)

The 'halo' that appears around the head of Jesus, angels, saints and other 'holy' personages in Christian art is also an artifact of Sun God worship.

You're basing an entire philosphical debate on the pure coincidence that, in modern English, the words "son" and "sun" sound the same. During the time of the Council of Nicea, the English language didn't even exist, so why would this modern coincidence be of any importance?

Thats why we consider the current bible has been corupted by human hand through the ages.
The main culprit would be Saul Paulus of Tarsus.

Thats why we believe God send another messenger, the prophesize prophet , the last of all the messenger
Muhammad s.a.w.

First off Catholics are not christians, second Catholic beliefs are
a mixture of roman and greek and whateverelse was there at the
time. Jesus is however not pagan, and NOT Catholic! It seems
you are too educated to know God and you are trying to appear to be smarter, than God Himself! You should really seek to know God, to know Jesus, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, My God is not a
dying God, He is the living God of my life and many others.
