Why should intelligent beings resist truth. The counter-evolutionary thing began when the church saw that people might assume that the bible was mis-leading and took away the all might wisdom of god. We don't have this problem in Buddhism as humans are reincarnated to reach perfection of the soul but the Catholic church and the Jews felt that fear would make the people cling to religion and therefore create the notion of hell and damnation and the original sin, and declared that there were ten major edicts from god himself which requires subservience to god as the only the only god (wonder why that was a problem if he was the only show in town???). As a scientist, I can see the evidence both from the fossil records but even today with the mutation of various pathogens (their evolution occurs much more rapidly than other life forms) but being Buddhist, I can see harmony in the natural flow of things...remember Jesus saves, Buddhists recycle.

No, evolution is a fact. The theory is the mechanisms behind evolution. Creationism has no evidence at all.

You don't read the Bible, if at all. Because if you did you would find it unnecessary to ask such a cretinous question. If (big if) it were an abomination, why would I worry - that's between you and God - not my problem. You can talk to who you like about whatever you like - I should care.

You can talk to them about evolution if you want, thats not a sin, but Believing In evolution and not God Just means you or your friends are Blinded to the truth, It doesen`t hurt me, if you believe in evolution, it only hurts you, so why are the non believing mad at Christians? Its because they KNOW evolution is wrong, and they just want to cause an argument.
