I am a Christian, i know a little about evolution. I don't know where to start.. The big bang? formation of the earth? how about this, i'll start from the first life forms.

Life (at this stage single celled life) mutliplied and multiplied, conditions changed and many were naturally selected as who could survive and continue. These are called naturally "fit" organisms, this concept is still occuring.

A few of these organisms became double celled, triple celled etc, as they mutated. Became naturally fit and began to populate. This continues, millions of years later we have worms, and many other invertebrates, millions of years later we start getting more complex creatures, remembering that the environment chooses those characteristics which can both survive and reproduce many and continue to populate the earth. I could go on, but i don't believe it would help any. I did Biological sciences at USYD, this is why i chose to outline this part of evolution.

It is all well and good, but the fit organisms needed to be able to produce many offspring quickly, to become fit and stay dominant on the planet, of course humans; being the most dominant species on the planet are capable of producing 1 offspring every 9 months compared to some fish which can produce thousands a year. I don't know why we don't produce thousands of babies a year, and take 9 months to do it, and have to live with our children for years before they become sufficient, but anyway that isn't really proof.

It is nice that you have asked Christians to explain the theory of evolution, i havent really explained it but have given a small concept, now you can do me a favour, look at this website since you are confident you evolved from slime, and disprove every single question with scientific evidence, you will be able to disprove next to none.

God bless!!

You probably won't like my answer but here it goes- If someone has the job of looking for counterfeit money- they will spend all their time and focus on studying the real thing. When a fake comes along- they just know that it is a fake. The belief and concept of evolution may seem to be logical but its beliefs have not been around as long as the belief of creation. What I'm saying is, I really don't feel the need to study other religions (evolution, in my opinion is a religion) because I know they aren't true. Closeminded it may seem but thats just the way it is.

If you believe in creation how could you believe in evolution. Either belief has to be taken on faith. I will say this, why do humans believe in a higher power if we evolved. That wouldn't make sense. It wouldn't be logical.
