mythology and folklore might be considered a part of religion since quite a large number of myths and folklore have a basis in the ancient belief systems of earlier Cultures and Societies.

Crikey! I found the answers a joy to behold. There's hope for humanity after all. And, sport, atheism is a belief system just as much as any religion is - but the difference is that it doesn't cling to cosy myths (apart from historical and economical ones, anyway, and anyone who has learned to think beyond dogma has a fair chance of seeing through them, too).

This forum is about religion and spiritual beliefs. Not just your one religion that you believe to be true. Atheist have every right to be in here just as you do. Why don't you go to the "mythology and folklore" section?

Everybody can enjoy every forum.
Every human being is free to express his opinions on any matters, and other people will freely decide what are the good opinions for them to adopt.
If we try to establish barriers on this immense space, then how much stronger barriers would we keep on establishing on our narrow earth?!
Yes, we should remove all barriers.

Do you realize how many times this question is asked daily. Perhaps it would be more advantageous to scroll through the previously asked answers than to keep asking for atheists and agnostics who also generally answer that question, to keep repeating themselves.

"...why not go to mythology and folklore?"

What would be the fun in that ?
This is mythology, the Christians are just to blind to see it.
Which makes it fun.

Better question is why don't they put reliigion in the mythology section?

hahahaha....

IF I was searching for a religion and read the comments from most Christians, I would run as fast as I could away from them.

Do Christians seriously believe they are advancing their religon on Y!A's?

(whew...)
