I like playing football, and football manager and football on PS2.
So becoming a professional seems like the best career choice.
But what if I dont become good enough until Im deemed too old.

How will I manage the rest of my life.
I think I will almost certainly be a loser.

Just checking... based on the questions here, I as an atheist ought (I surmise) to get incredibly angry or at least offended when I use, or hear used, any of these terms:

- B.C. or A.D. in referring to the date
- Paradise in reference to a good place
- 'Bless you' when someone sneezes
- Christmas in reference to 25 Dec.
- Reference to the city of Allahabad, the country of El Salvador or people with the name Christina (okay, I've never heard these but it logically follows from what comes before).

Yet I somehow manage to survive this theistic onslaught without chewing the furniture. You see, they happen to be English words and English happens to be the language I speak.

So my question is: am I strange for not going postal when I hear these words, or has somebody created an 'atheist English' and just not told me about it?

The BBC programme "Revelations" last week highlighted that belief in "end time" was destroying our world because global warming and disasters are supposedly ordained by God and the UN is the Anti-christ and must be got rid of.

This coming from a fundamentalist belief that the bible is the actual word of God rather than a God inspired work written by men (which is the truth) and considering the enormous political influence of these Christian fundamentalists on the government of the USA which is destablising the world with its military crusades. Is the real enemy of the world the Bible Belt and what can we do to marginalise these right wing fundamentalist crack pots???

I'm a holy person. And I belive god give us rain and everything. I think the world is a creation of GOD in 6days. I think from elephant to ant was created by god. Is it fine to ask my children to follow the same beliefs of mine? I think my book is very secred. I pray everyday. So i ask my children to do the same . I know then the GOD will help my children.
I belive when i pray , my family will be fine. Problems will be solved.
My children are not that good in studies, but i ask the priest to pray for them.Now they are fine. I know the holly book is very important to my children. They will wear my grandparents holy cross.
When i go out from my house,i used to pray and kiss the holy cross. TheIt will protect them. My prayers are strong. And GOD is listening to them.
But now i hear lot of children speak about unreligous things. They talk about Dinosours and Apes , I feel my children will loose there intrest on the holy book. What should I do?

What is the difference? We can have Faith in God, but sometimes we don't really Trust ourselves, or have little Faith in ourselves. HOw to handle? I know Faith is a susbstance we can' see, but is there. Without Faith, we can't please God.. Then what about Trust?

Since Christianity is not spread evenly throughout the whole world. There will be very race specific people that will go to heaven.

Good news!
You won't see many Persians or Arabs in heaven. Most of them are muslims, so you won't be having to worry about them anymore. God got rid of them.

Most Asians will not be there either. Though you may think that there are a lot of Christians that are asian. I can safely say that 1.6 Billion in China and Japan alone won't be going to heaven due to them being Atheist or Buddhist.

Indians won't be in heaven because their population is based strictly of Hindu's and Muslim's. Doesn't sound like many people, but did you know that there are 1 BILLION Indians in India alone?

Lastly, Almost all the Russians won't go to heaven. Finally got rid of them we did and it didn't take a cold war to do it.

What you will see though are Half the blacks, most of the whites and all the Hispanics in Heaven. Hallelujah!

A boy who was 12 years old lost Both his parents in a Car crash.
The Boys parents were Buddhist.
The boy was extremely sad at losing his parents.At the age of 20 he met a Churchman who told him about the Bible and Christ,but he did not Except it as the Truth. The Churchman told him he was risking of going to Hell on judgementday if he would not except the Bible.
He stated that if Judgement day was true he could not stand being in Heaven while his parents would be in Hell.He died last year at the age of 43 due to Cancer

A) Do you think he was right in taking that decision
B) Do you think he will be able to be United with his family in Hell.

Even for that matter the Gods of other Religions, like Lord Krishna, Lord Siva, Allah, Goddess Kaali, Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswathi ... if the Christians do not love all these Gods and Goddesses and even the Satan, are they violating Jesus's commands and certainly going to Hell according to the narrations of Bible ? I don't really believe in ethics or morals. I act like I do now, to currently please society. Until I'm completely changed. I'm trying to kill my soul and heart. And follow on logical decisions. Does that make me somewhat of a bad person. I think the end justify the means. I think, its eat or be eaten. Only the strong survive. Crush who ever stands in your way. I think you shouldn't bound by family friend or morals. You are the most important person. People are either with you or against you. My eyes are open to true way of the world how about yours?

Slowly I'm trying to disconnect myself from what we are, this dependence on each other, relying on people. It worthless isn't it. Am I mad or am I sane. I see the world as a cruel place and to survive you must be crueler than the person next to you. You need to have sharper teeth and claws, then the person next to you. You need to have more potent venom then the person next to you.
Am I wrong, in thing this way?
