no that means he doesn't want people going around having children by every person they meet. when they have kids he wants the couple to be happy to have kids. not full of problems.

Jesus did not wish people to be celibate,
and Paul of Tarsus did not distort Christ's message.
But all responsible adults will tell you, you should be in a committed relationship if you want to have sex.
At least a common law marriage if not one celebrated with a civil or religious service.
If you don't want to have sex, that's all right too.
I haven't for twenty years and I function just fine.
But I could if I found the right woman and we both agreed.

Paul distorted the whole concept of Jesus. Jesus was just a man-a Rabbi (teacher). He was not holy. And, any man who was not married by the age of 20 at that time? Well, something was wrong with them. The Jewish people were told by G-d to be fruitful and multiply. So, I am sure Jesus was married and had children.

Sexual relations have a single purpose, to provide children to married couples. Celibacy is what is expected of unmarried people, both for their personal health and to keep from having children out of wedlock. What's wrong with that?

St. Paul was an OLD man who had long past his prime of sexuallity. And, there is ample evidence that he was Gay. Isn't it convenient that ALL the scripture is written by old men well past their sexual lives? It is very easy for a non-sexual person to condem in others what they once did. That does not mean it isn't sick! Much of the bible, old and new, expresses many pathologic writings that are often accepted as dogma...extending the illness to those who were NOT ill before they started believing in the rantings of a very few silly old men. Sad, but true. Good luck and peace.

Jesus incuraged celibacy before marriage, within marriage sex is intended to be a wonderful, pleasurable sharing.
My friend had one interesting way of looking at things, 'there is no such thing as premarital sex in God's eyes the first time you have sex you are then married to that person and anyone after that is adultery.' But within marriage sex is perfectly fine and encouraged.
