Yes, it is easy to point a finger and say "well, he/she isn't helping, so why should I?"
Must we follow the lead of those least compassionate? Must we make -them- our leaders, and refuse to offer our assiatcne, our compassion, our love to those most in need?
Can we not do better than they? Must we refuse to do better than they?
There will always be those amongst us whose lives have been so hard or so bitter that they cannot offer compassion or love. But what of us? Have our lives been so devoid of good examples that we cannot do better? That we can't be an example to -them-? That we can't help them to come to a better understanding of love and compassion by showing ours?
There will be those who use this board for preaching. Nature of the beast. But must we join them, arguing over whose god is better or whose religion hates more? Is that the extent of love and compassion?
Will you resist the urge to attack each other, so we can help each other help those worse off than us
