The only reason I believe to be the reason why people dont believe in God is because they have very hard hearts, and they don't want to hear the truth or see the glory of God lest they believe. No body can say it better than Isaiah himself as qouted from Mathew here below:
Mathew 3: 13-16. " 13This is why I speak to them in parables:
"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.'[a] 16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

For many reasons. They have a closed mind and are not willing to accept the premise of a God without some sort of proof. Another reason--They have not had an unusual experience to alter the above frame of mind. Another reason---They were not raised in a religious family and taught the concept. Others that were raised in a religious family and have disowned the teachings they apparently never learned were lured by other forces to disbelieve. Others have never found it practical to believe in God. And I could go on and on. What I am trying to point out is that---one does not need any reason to believe in God but faith. One can select many reasons as to why they do not believe. We all have the choice.

I am not sure why some people dont believe in God. Some people as kids were not told to much abput Him so they think he is just a science fiction character now as adults. I do believe in Him because He has gotten me through so many times!! PLUS I am here right now sitting down on the couch. The only reason I knw this is because there is no other explination what so ever for life as it is now. God will be there for all of you people and if you need guidence turn to the sky and ask God gor guidence! God Loves You!!!

This depends entirely upon the person. For some, a prayer was never answered, they never believed to begin with, there is no ultimate proof of God's existence. Also, many believers fail to present their views in a civil, logical manner; they just say, "I am right just because I know and you must believe the same as I" and are finished. This leads many to think religion stupid and hostile, never accounting that most of world's population fits this despcription, therefore most believers do too. Hypocrisy is a major turn off to religion Some atheists/agnostics dont see what they are told about religion to be true because they think it so far fetched. It really just depends on one's perspective of the world and the logic through which they see things. One may see an unanswered prayer as a proof there is no God, while another says, "It must not be what He has planned for me." Some see evolution as disproving God, while others say, "Who is to say how long God's day is?" The world can be seen as evidence for or against, it just depends on who you are.

How about, 'Why don't all people believe in God?'

Almost my mother's entire family believes in God; the Salvation Army is a Christian organization; the Pope obviously believes in God.

Why don't all people believe in God? Maybe because some people think too much.

I see it the other way. Why do some people believe in god?

That is sort of a misnomer. Lots of people believe in God here. It's just that you have to figure out which god, gods, or goddesses the are following. I think we as a culture are too hung up about religion. Believe what you will and let other people have their own beliefs. As long as neither is shoving their religion down the other's throat why should you care who someone worships?

Everybody is born Spiritually Blind. It is like a Twilite Zone kind of thing. The Blindness goes away after your Saved (Spiritman Recreated) and you are able to start to understand Spiritual Truth(Who GOD is).
I cannot not remember how I used to think before I was Born-Again, I can remember my life, but now it seems like I have always Believed in GOD. I don't know how to explain it, kinda like a Twilite Zone Thing.
Da da da da.

why dont some people believe in aliens ?
why dont some people believe in ghosts ?

there is much evidence around for each of these ... but that evidence is not enough for some .. or that evidence is easier for others to accept
we all need our individual evidence to accept something
so people should only accept once they have found theirs ...otherwise we are taking things in blindly , which is not right

No evidence = No belief.

“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.” - Stephen Roberts
