The Satanic Bible, by Anton LaVey? No dragon's blood. Yes, I've read it. Not really a "religious" text per se, but an interesting perspective on a humanistic spirituality.

ETA: Someone mentioned the magic in the book; for the record, it's the Enochian Keys, which were originally transmitted to John Dee in the 1500's--by angels.

It was written by a person named Anton LaVey back in 1969. I read it (for a philosphy class, I'm not Satanist or anything) and it really reads more like a solid philosophy book rather than what most people believe. No rituals, demons, sacrafices or anything like that. Actually, they don't even believe there is a devil or satan. But then the end gets into all this weird stuff about magic and that stuff I didn't even read.

the summary of anton lavey's satanist bible is:
there is no god, satan, demons, angels
religion is a primal superstition
satan is a made up figure that personifies how someone breaks free from all controlling systems and does what they want.
Do What You Want = a summary of the whole satanist bible

No, but my boyfriend has and he says its not as evil as most people assume it is just the anti-thesis of turn the other cheek mentality of Christianity.
