"And at midnight the LORD killed all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn son of the captive in the dungeon. Even the firstborn of their livestock were killed. Pharaoh and his officials and all the people of Egypt woke up during the night, and loud wailing was heard throughout the land of Egypt. Some of you said I took this out of context. How is this out of context? Some of you said they were idolaters. How are innocent babies idolaters? Some of you said I need a pastor to interpret it to me. What is there to interpret more than god killed innocent babies? Some of you said that in these cases we conclude "god is a killer." What else is there to conclude? And why is it when god does something "bad" I need interpretation and play it down? Why not when he says something good and that is out of context?

Hypocrites.

I am curious to see what translations others prefer and why. For my own self, I use the New International Version for my personal study and plan on using the New King James Version for my study next year. I also use the King James Version for scripture memorization through a discipleship program I am currently working through, and have used the New Revised Standard Version for a previous study. So which translation do you prefer to use in your study and why?

CONFIDENCE:

TRUST:
Trust should be like the feeling of a one year old baby when you throw him in the air , he laughs......because he knows you will catch him........

HOPE:
A human being can live for 40 days without water 8 minutes without air but not even 1 second without hope....

SO ALWAYS HAVE CONFIDENCE, TRUST AND NEVER LOOSE HOPE

I have always wondered how has the pope and the vatican become so rich. surely it is not by donations. **** who would donate that much money just to pay the electricity. Organized religon is just a bunch of crap. Why would you go to church and sit there on hard wood benches for hours just to hear so dude talk about what you could read in the bible. Plus who the **** would want to worship the bible it is just a story about a good guy. Jesus was nothing speacial, it is just that he supposively the son of god. even though there is no way that mary could have gotten pregnant by a ghost. So Jesus is really the son of Joseph. Religon is ****** up. Oh, did anyone see that history channel thing on the Exodus. All the bible is, is a story with good morales behind it.
