Hello!! :o) The 'questioner' didn't ask you if you thought incest was wrong. He asked you WHY do people have incest relations?
I think it has everything to do with love and trust. We often love and trust those we are related too. And since that is often the two things we require before becoming involved sexually with someone - it's a big hurdle to have already overcome. There is also the fact that the two relatives who are having a sexual relationship already have so much in common. And that's comforting. [They don't have to 'explain' crazy Uncle Bob!!] That all said - I understand why some people commit incest - but I do think it's wrong. Many things in life that seem OK - really are not OK. And when it comes to incest - it's best NOT to even START something that might lead to 'things' that would eventually become very regrettable. Craig!! :o)

Well, if you know anyone who is having incest, or if its you, well its wrong.
The Bible clearly says :
People had incest in the old testament, if you read properly, in genesis itself, people suffered when they did that.
Lots daughters laid with him, and because of that, their decendents suffered.
Rueben laid with Jacob's wife (not his mom) and he received no blessing.
Read the Bible and God will reveal His truth to you.
Corinthians 7:2
Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
